:hello: Hi, can I join the aliens corner, please?

I do think it's probably a little easier for us aliens doing SW but I found myself drooling over a bumper pack of roast chicken & thyme crisps this morning, didn't dare think about the syns in that:eek: I'm really missing pork with crackling and skin on duck and chicken.

Me too! Me too! I'd rather have two starters than a dessert, any time. We have a tasting day next WI and nearly everyone brings sweet stuff :( I'm thinking of making something from the new Extra Easy book, in fact lots of those recipes sound good (and not too wet! :rotfl:)
    :jThat's 2 stone 9 lbs gone forever:j

Thanks Teecee46 yes it was the small pack, worth the syns and still enough for curly wurly:T
  • I'm going to have 1 foot in the alien corner and 1 foot out.... I do prefer savoury to sweet...but still have carvings for chocolate and biscuits. I would have a cheese board over a pud anyday at a restaurant.

Still peckish after the yummy veggie curry and rice.... bread is winking at me, but I am off bread... MUST resist.... I'll dash for the ryvita now before I am overcome by the need for toast and lurpack.

AND YES I am a total gannet... I eat everything in sight when it is * week ... probably why my food budget goes out the window each month!!!

Evening finally remembered my password to get on here!

Have just worked a 13 hour day as had parents evening to work too then went for WI on way home at a nearby club.

I have lose 3lb:j:Tso pleased as this weeks eats have included a Chinese, Curry last night and beer and choc cake for Mums birthday and a few other syns.

    Think eating more has worked.

    Todays food was

B - Wheatabix and banana, rice milk

L - out with students at a carvery - nothing on the menu that was vegan and vege all covered in butter so they did me a huge plate of baby potatoes and veggies. I took some of my vegan gravy powder not worked out syns there yet.

Tea - jacket potato, veggie ratatouille and 28g soya cheese plus salad.

Will have a soya yoghurt or rice pud later on with some fresh berries in.

I have really been suffering with dry sometimes scaly skin on my face the past 2 weeks - I know its winter and cold but reckon this is a lack of essential fatty acids. Have brought a bottle of hemp oil and am having it on salad or as a shot daily and my skin is miles better. Am sure this not very SW - having a shot of oil but I do feel I was missing my good fats and it does not appear to have slowed weight loss down so far.

Would rather have a shot of vodka though than oil:rotfl:
