One eats Dyno Rod soup 3 times a day.....one would not wants ones head anywhere near ones rectum I can assure you
:rotfl:
Guns -I do get hungrier on star week -but I no longer crave junk -I find I want things like porridge, I think I feel the need to line my stomach.
Skintslimmer -Its a b*gger when you are to busy to cook etc isn't it.. Im lucky that I don't have that problem now -but I remember it well from my previous weight loss attempts.
I hope things get less hectic for you soon...
next time you shop could you get the ready diced meat/veg stew packs so you can just throw them in the slow cooker on your busy days?
Sarymclary -Im with you, If Im not going to enjoy every last forkfull of something then "I aint eating it"- I know that I could have muller lights for free -but they are vile, so I have activia intenselys at 2.5syns each BUT having those means I don't crave sweet stuff -so I save in the long run
. Apart from my occasional fibre plus bar I don't have any other chocolate and it really doesn't bother me -which is a good job because you have to see the chocolate aisles out here to believe em ..and now they are stocking up on stollen n stuff!!
ooh and well done on the latest losses ladies :j-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -

I might finally have staved the hunger off!
Need to add 5 syns to my total, 2 for sesame oil for fried rice and 3 for an alpen light. By the time i have had dinner i will have had 9 syns, still got enough for my kitkat later;)
Yes me...I can barely drag myself away from the kitchen cupboards!!Ive not had bread for ages.....its one of my 'bad foods too'I struggle sometimes eating/swallowing meat - but thats usually after Ive had a 'bad do' and from how I understand it now its when the hernia has popped up and the stomach acids are where they shouldnt be
Im on the lansoprazole now - and theyve just increased it and see how I go.
You're right though...the op sounds scary...and not altogether succesful in some cases from what ive read, and Im not sure its something Im prepared to go through if losing weight can have a good enough effect (along with food avoidance)
Is yours a sliding hernia too? flipping awful when it happensx
I hope the Lansoprazole helps... Yes my is a sliding one too:(
Had a peice of cake mid-morning so will just class that as all my syns
Carrot and coriander soup for lunch
activia yoghurt
for dinner I will have either more soup or a jp with beans.
I am really tempted to try this mushy pea curry, I really might give it a try soon.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,
Nothing is going to get better. It's not.0 -
MRS M - While you're here....do you think the chinese pork recipe would work well with chicken, or do youthink it would need adjusting??Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

I would think it should work -but I don't slow cook chicken as I find it goes stringy -I guess It would work better with chicken thighs if you can get them....
I know its not slow cooked but I reckon the sticky ginger marinade I posted would work well if you want to stir-fry....-6 -8 -3 -1.5 -2.5 -3 -1.5-3.50 -
Thanks...was going to put it with rice, like I did with the pork:) the kids won't eat stir fry veggies, well not with out me whipping them into it;) At least I can get the older two to eat rice, and I can put peas and sweetcorn with it, which is what ds3 will eat....it is complicated trying to get dishes that everyone will eat here.Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

ha ha well I'm nearly 6ft and I can assure you the air is not any better up here... I think that the gas rises, so you're in with a better chance of it going over your head so to speak sooner :rotfl:
(Good lord I do talk a load of sh*t!)
Funny you should say that about prepared veg... I have just got back from the supermarket and invested in whoopsied ready to go packs of leek & potato, and mixed veg soup packs - all chopped veggies with herbs just need to add stock (oh !!!!!! I forgot to buy some more stock!) - so that would have been a good idea... think it'll have to make do with beef stock!
The shop was a binge-free success :T I might have found a little kinder egg, and some packets of mini chocolate biscuits which needed a good home, *whistles innocently* but that hardly counts as a binge, especially if I stop now I've had one packet of biccies and the one kinder egg.
For some reason I had an insane urge to stock up on nice things to drink... so I have (for a household of 1):
a multipack of sugar free childrens fizzy apple and blackcurrant stuff
a multipack of low sugar asda own brand fruit shoot
3 x 2l bottle of asda's own zero versions of fanta, sprite, and fanta. I now wish I got the dr pepper one as I am now craving this... *rolls eyes*
At least the sweetness of those is keeping me away from the nortiesNothing tastes as good as riding a horse feels0 -
help! How many syns in a cranberry and brie panini from costa???? I resisted the delicious looking black forest christmas cupcake:A:D but I have a feeling the panini will be about 25 bloody syns so bang goes my evening splash of wine and curly wurly:(0

Look, ladies....I know I'm an alien because I don't like chocolate. You don't all need to gang up on me ::sniff:: :rotfl:
I've always preferred savoury to sweet ...Give me a starter and / or a decent cheese board any day.
Mags - I'm an alien too - savoury beats sweet for me too! We can sit in the corner together and drool over that cheese board!:hello:A diet is the penalty we pay for exceeding the feed limit!:rotfl:
