Look, ladies....I know I'm an alien because I don't like chocolate. You don't all need to gang up on me ::sniff:: :rotfl:

I've always preferred savoury to sweet - I use my syns on gravy, HP sauce, stir fry sauces and cheese  (not all at once, I might add...).

Give me a starter and / or a decent cheese board any day.

Mags - I'm an alien too - savoury beats sweet for me too! We can sit in the corner together and drool over that cheese board!:hello:

:hello: Hi, can I join the aliens corner, please?

I do think it's probably a little easier for us aliens doing SW but I found myself drooling over a bumper pack of roast chicken & thyme crisps this morning, didn't dare think about the syns in that:eek: I'm really missing pork with crackling and skin on duck and chicken. Fortunately I had cut down on cheese (OH's cholesterol) and wine before starting SW so that's been a help. I've always made my own stir-fry sauces and have just replaced the sherry with a bit of beef stock. I find stock, chillis, ginger, garlic and soy works a treat with beef and pork and it's totally free. I haven't found anything for chicken yet as my recipe involves honey and sherry. Any free chicken stir-fry ideas?

WI for me tonight (can't make my usual group tomorrow). I've gone over on wine syns this week and had a meal out of dubious origin (it was lamb kleftiko which must have had oil in it) plus I'm sure my holiday the week before will catch up with me. STS would be a bonus!

    I'm so very, very full....

Dinner was scrummy, decided to have my other A after all, melted 35g of cheese over my SW chips. Looking at my plate no one would have believed i was on a diet:rotfl:

Hopefully the * monster will stay reined in for the rest of the evening!

Fab news.....you can do what another poster recommended now, and buy her a few nice sw recipe books...amazon or ebay always have nice ones...

Good luck to both of you.

Hoorah! It's not just me :D

I have a feeling though that if we start talking about our favourites the way some of this lot talk about chocolate we could be considered even more strange. I'm up for that :T

For the normal folks out there - just think, if we don't want it, that means the world supply is in absolutely no danger! Those pieces you do decide to have (within your syns or not) are totally safe from us aliens...alieneyesa.gif
