    Afternoon everyone.....
Well, after a really crappy weigh in yesterday, i have decided that i am staying with green days, dont eat much meat, and really dont miss it...

Please could someone look over my last 2 days?

    TUES
    Milk (hea)
B.. apple, shape zero stawberry youghurt
    L.. fried egg(fry lite) tin spagetti, 2 w/m bread(heb)
D.. slimming world chips, beans and chesse(hea)

    Snacks.. fruit, alpen light bar(heb)
    Syns..... none 2day

    TODAY
    Milk (hea)
    Brunch.. 2w/m bread(heb) egg, beans
D will be... 2 quorn sas, mash and mushy peas..

Snacks so far... fruit, will have alpen lite bar with cuppa very soon!

    Does this look ok?

Both look like good green days to me - although getting more superfree foods in (non starchy veggies, fruit) will always help. But at this time of year a bit a free stodge in the manner of SW chips and mushy peas is about as good as it gets :D

    Wednesday : Green

Brekkie : All Bran HEB, ML, thawed berries

HEA : Milk in tea all day

Lunch : Falafel 3 syns, cous cous, salad, dressing 2 syns

Dinner : Chicken HEB, stir fry, noodles, 2 syns for sauce

Snacks : Small banana, apple, satsuma, grapes

Just arranged to go out with a mate to a fantastic Chinese/Thai/Vietnamese place for lunch on Saturday. They do salt and pepper chilli ribs to die for . I'll have some of those and a noodle broth thing with lots of veggies and chicken in it. That's fairly syn free but I will need to budget at least 20 syns for the rest of lunch . I may have to rethink my wine syn arrangement. I only had one small glass last night so that leaves me with 20-ish syns to play with. But then the rest of the wine will go off - and that's shurely heresey?! :rotfl:

Syns remaining this week : 54/105 if I drink the rest of the wine, 74/105 if I don't :)

    One is there right now.....:D

One just has to think about why one is doing this. Also about one's progress so far and how much it would bloody well nark one if one messed this up and slipped back to one's old ways.

    :rotfl:

Its the bloody offers on those large tubs of chocolates in the suprmarket that are tempting me! :o You're right, you're right.... ...Maybe just a standard size box then?! :rotfl:

Hmm actually if I can find the mini boxes they can't be tooooo bad?

One is off to asda to buy oneself some superfree food and to try to avoid the chocolate aise. but I'm not promising anything, right?! :rotfl:

(One is alsof finding the speaking of oneself in this manner rather addictive!)

    Veggie hotpots?

Hmm...I'm not a veggie, but lots of onions, tomatoes, carrots, swede, celery, peppers and mushrooms should be a good start :D

Lots of herbs and spices too - they're all free.

One is devastated that she can't help you any more with this. One hates chocolate. Odd, yes, but someone's got to do it :D

Anyone going to tell me that in a bid to rectify a week of shameful synning if I haven't lost tonight I will be burying myself deep in a large tub of qualty street is a bad idea??

    Nobody? Oh goody.

Otherwise, how does one pull one's head out from one's rectum when one is feeling rather piddled off that one can't stop over using their syns, and one isn't even enjoying the syn abuse and on the whole one has been quite good, just too high in syns?

...7 "ones" in one(!) sentence. Beat that! :D

Perhaps as one has been fairly good in spite of one's syns, one could see this as a practise maintainance week and one can then move on to a weight loss week next week where one will see one's weight move downwards to one that one desires more

    Ha - 8!!:D(including cheat number one):o

    Good afternoon all
Well done on the losses ladies :T

Another cold n dreary day here *shock horror* :p

Well its an odd day here -I really don't know what I want to eat -I have opted for red and so far its looking like this:-
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • 2 apples
    • roast chicken
    • tickled beetroot
    • gherkin
    • activia intensely (2.5)
    • orange
    • 28g oats (B)
    • 250ml semi (A)
    • banana
    • rapberries,blueberries, strawberries, cherries
    • activia intensely (2.5)
    • fibre plus (B)
so that will be 2A+Bs and 5 syns accounted for..

Now don't ask me why Im fancying porridge for dinner -it just suddenly came to me :p ...I have made a bolognaise for hubby so that is him fed today -and he will take the rest for lunch tomorrow ....
oohhh Im being good with my "leg magic" - Im doing 20 every time I go to the loo -it should soon mount up and help me firm up these legs of mine , Hubby is stuck with what to get me for chrimble so Im toying with the idea of another piece of exercise equipment ... Im leaning toward a vibration plate at the moment.. but haven't quite decided yet *watch this space* :p
we are nipping for a fruit n veg top up when hubby gets home -so I will just need to get the pasta on for hubby and my porridge ticking over when I get back so it will be done by the time I have put the shopping away!!

    Skintslimmer - :rotfl:
I know it sounds odd -but are you cooking/eating meals that you really really enjoy? I find that because I am loving my meals I don't get that *oohh I fancy something *nice*" head on me that I used to on WW. I use most of my syns either in recipes or on my beloved activia intenselys (nomnomnom)

Right -thats enough waffle from me for now..
    Have a great day everyone..

    Hello gang,

well done on the losses, and for those struggling, a little bit of what one fancies won't do you any harm (but gorging on an entire tub of Quality Street will!).

I agree with MrsM, I try to make each meal I'm having a tasty one, and something I really enjoy eating. I love my food, and eating something for the sake of it, has got me needing to sign up to SW in the 1st place, because I ended up making bad, and I admit now, lazy choices. Last night I made a lovely slow cooked braised beef casserole, that just cooked itself in the oven all day, and there was plenty left over for my lunchy today. It took me no more than 10 mins to prep and put on, and it was just the kind of winter warmer we needed. My only way of making sure meals are tasty, and I'm not over-syning is to meal plan.

    Meals today:
B - alpen light bar, small piece b/fast bar (1 inch square, of gluten free fruit slice my friend wanted me to taste that she'd made) (3 syns - guessing)
L - h/m beef casserole with lots of chunky veggies included in it
D - slow cooked chicken, veg & potatoes.

Well, BF has signed us both up for the gym, although he was in 2 minds earlier yesterday and threatening to buy equipment to set on up at home instead, but anyway, we're now members again. So, I guess i'd better get my backside up there to get his money's worth out of it, as he's paying! Wish me luck!
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

  • Mags_cat - just when I thought we could get along you tell me you don't like chocolate! How very dare you :rotfl:

Yes, to be honest that sounds about right. I wanted to be cooking meals I love this week, and haven't had a spare minute to be able to do so, so that'd make sense.
