Apparently iPhones on the latest iOS are having a problem with the daylight savings switchover - although the time is being changed correctly, the alarms are still ringing an hour late - e.g. if it is set to alarm at 8am, it will only ring at 9am, even though it still displays 8am on the alarm settings. Only affects those people who have set their alarms to custom patterns (e.g. set to ring every weekday or every Sunday).poppy100 -
I have an alarm set for every weekday morning, went off at the correct time this morning for me.====0

Having used both HTC and Apple phones, i fail to see how people can compare HTC to Apple's phones. I bought a HTC phone and was bitterly disappointed with how it ran, the software was sluggish, not impressed.
The Apple phone is a fantastic piece of kit, I use IPhone 4 and I fail to see how anybody can call it 'cack'. As for the bluetooth thing, I seem to remember using bluetooth to transfer pictures many years ago, but I guess there are other ways of doing things now..
Personal choice I guess, but for me no contest.0 -

As has been said you have to JB for custom tones but with 4.2 due for release they have included another 17 sms tones (all crap btw).

so called "lemmings" actually like the iPhone and purchased as it was suited to their needs?
The problem with iPhone is that it is very much restricted. You can't select files individually like in comptuer. All other systems eg. Symbian, Blackberry, Android etc. allow that.
iPhone is a powerful device only when it is jailbroken.Happiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -

Out of interest, what model was it?0 -
the greatest for me if seeing the whole office go into meltdown when their iphone crashes after they cant access emails. all callin the tech department and everyfin.
having to HACK ur fone to make it do the most basic of things means its CACK! Apple think their product is the best invention since sliced bread and dont want anyone changing anything. what they say goes.
go with android or WM6.5 or 7 and u can customise to ur galore! of course there are actual ROM hacks and such but mostly they say u can do whatever u want. Apple say no to anything but how it comes out the box.
yea great phone...0 -
