selling your stuff on Amazon - part 7 - advice for newbies in the first post

I listed 13 books today. How long did it take you to sell your first book?

I have just sold my first ever book :j

I listed them about 9pm tonight. I cant find where it says what time it was sold (still getting used to the whole selling bit) book went for £8.50. I got the email at 11PM so about 2 hours then

I have another book on there now, just waiting to see what anyone thinks of my just William book as I described above

What should I post it in? A jiffy bag? Oh and first or second class?

EDIT: never mind, just read the OP, jiffy bag and second class first thing :j

I would price your Just William book at about 10% less then the better ones, put the note about the damage early in the description because they may not read on to the end of it and buy because of the price

well done , yes i was as excited when i sold my first book , still quite new to it and still get excited when a book sells :j

sold 1 overnight and 2 so far today :j

Thanks for that, I was thinking about knocking about £8 -10 off and stating damage hence cheap price. I think it could be one of those books thats up for ages but its worth a try I suppose.
