grrr sale pending, only a few pounds but I'd like them to be in my pocket now someone elses
first sale pending that hasn't been followed straight away by the sale, ah well fingers crossed.
Congratulations Soolin on your books being active now.....and well done on the sale!!0 -
I have only just started to sell on Amazon in the last few weeks -well, sell is probably not the correct word as no-one had bought anything from me.
The question is, all my books / audio books are quite expensive ones (£10 +) so do i need to sell some penny books to get a rating (like ebay) or doesn't it really matter on Amazon ?0 -
Ratings on Amazon are odd things, I've sold dozens of books, well over a 100 at least and still only have 55 feedback. 1p books don't necessarily sell any quicker than expensive books , or at least mine don't, so just sit tight and wait for some of your current stock to sell and hopefully you'll start to get some feedback.

The rating system isn't as important as eBay as there is no real threat of retaliatory feedback and all financial transactions go via Amazon.
I sold lots of books before I got any feedback at all - there is a very low ratio of sales to feedback so it might take a while!
The key to sales is just a good accurate description, competitive pricing and patience!0 -
Welcome Father Jack,
feedback on Amazon is nowhere near as important as on Ebay. I think about 1 in 10 of my buyers have left feedback and I only had one feedback for quite a few months but it didn't seem to stop people buying even quite expensive books. i think buyers are more interested if you say you post promtly and do a bit of a decent description [for those that read descriptions].
Good luck with it
