Had 2nd hand car for 16 days and its broken down, what are my rights?

I have now come to an agreement with Hartwells which I find at the moment very satisfactory. The engine will be replaced and will come with a 12 month guarantee PLUS 2 years free serving and MOTs. Im happy with that as the car itself was lovely to drive (before it went so very wrong)

Shows the power of this site imo. They've obviously decided that the short term loss is far less than the long term damage people searching for hartwell and finding this thread will cause. Who needs watchdog?
