makes sense I suppose, as you are carrying around the weight of all the food/drink of the day in the evening. I usually see a difference of about 2lb between morning and night.
that's why I weigh myself 1st thing, no food, no clothes, no extra weight! :rotfl:

Just out of interest, I just converted my weigt into kg - I only have to lose 7.5 kg... sounds a lot easier than 16lb! LOL :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    avoid kilos, very demotivating 82kgs ... :(

I know this is totally shallow, but this morning I saw a pic of jennifer aniston looking amazing in a bikini and it's now my inspiration. I know she is not exactly the best role model, having been documented as eating baby food and tiny salads to stay slim, but I would love to feel confident in my swimsuit this summer and it just hit a nerve. She is 40 for crying out loud!
That's the multi millionaire who has personal trainers, staff, £1000's to spend on beauty treaments every day and cosmetic surgery whenever? That's the multi millionaire who's very existance is based on the shallowest profession in the world - hollywood movies, who hasn't had or got a sucessful loving relationship with a normal man like you have?
MMMmmm, me thinks you might be setting yourself up to fail here:D.

Margaret -frustratingly slow but your focus and determination is to be admired!
I must go and get remeasured myself sometime, but as i am still losing weight i am reluctant to spend money on new bras yet.

Thanks for the general support folks. According to scales this morning - only 6lbs to lose to be in my healthy bmi range:j
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once

I didn't get the info about bust measurement off the internet! It is in the catalogue from Amplebosom. Sally Robinson, a farmer's wife from North Yorkshire, could not get bras and knickers in larger sizes so she decided to set up her own company based in redundant farm buildings, and she's been very successful, employing 10 people in a part of the country where there is little other work nearby. I quoted that info from her catalogue.

For a while now I've been wearing Triumph sports bras size 42D but they are beginning to feel a bit roomy inside. I don't think my boobs are that bad considering. Not as bad as some of the women I see when I go to aqua-aerobics!

However, today the scales register 73.1 kg. This is not the rate of loss I hoped for, BUT this is less than I've weighed for many a long year, so good news. This converts to 11 st 7.2 lb. I really wanted to get to 11 stone or below by the end of the year - I suppose it may still happen, but my weight loss does not go down in a linear fashion. Even losing weight at all can only be done if I keep rigidly to 1100 calories/day and stick to low GI as much as possible.

Then she should jack it in!! I think its a disgrace that people can run a business telling other women how to do something they cant do on their own. I considered going into this game properly, but the only way to do a proper job is to open an actual shop but the start up costs are too high.

If i ever won the lottery it would be my mission in life to get more than 10% of the female population in the correct fitting bra!

Betty, i know what you mean! I wish to God and back i was a size 10. I just cant resist things....and i have too many carbs. I'd say a massive portion of my diet is carbs...they are the backbone of everything i eat. I think i might try and cut back on it if i can, will be hard because im such a fussy eater. I dont mind my body from the top of my head down to the top of my legs! Its the hips and thighs i hate!

We should team up betty, make use of our sameness!

We had our first snow last night! Makes me feel all Christmassy! We even had our SW Christmas lunch yesterday at our local carvary. Very nice is was too - although there was a lot of butter on the veg:eek:

If you dont have roast potatos or stuffing then a carvery can be a pretty low calorie meal out, especially if you have only turkey on it too.

Our local is a crown carvery, so a meal is only £3.69.
The yorkshire puddings are like cardboard, i rarely eat it, but it makes a great holder for the peas and sweetcorn :-)
If you pick wisely then you really can have a huge plateful for about four or five hundred calories. It's as cheap as cooking at home for one.
