Victory, this is awful
:( I'd hate to think that hanging on there will make you iller than it already is. It's no life.
I try to take one day at a time, but sometimes several days attack me at once0 -
Victory~Do you not already claim child/working tax credits as a family?
If not you should maybe look into it.
If you gave up work what I meant was that it is likely that your tax credits would increase.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. Congratulations to our SoTW flis21 with a fantastic loss.
:T:T:j:T:T Wahoooooooo, Thanks sooo much.
Sorry I haven't been on the last 2 days, my youngest is teething and it's exhausting. Been up since 3 this morning. Am going to bed at the same time as my boys to try and catch up on sleep!
Anyway, I hve managed to make a big batch of soup, had it for lunch last 2 days and planning on it again for today. Am doing really well with the 5 fruit and veg thing and not too bad on the exercising. The drinking water is taxing me a bit at the minute, so I'm putting no added sugar squash in it which is helping a bit. I just can't face drinking that much plain water!!
Had a good look in the mirror this morning and I'm starting to see a difference in my face, can't see any difference anywhere else yet, but I'm sure it'll come soon.
I am still feeling positive, which is amazing for me 10 days in, but I think as I'm not following a strict 'diet' that is making the difference. I haven't banned anything, so I'm not craving anything. My son had one of those 17p chocolate freddo things from the shop yesterday so I had one with him. Good as it gave me a little choc fix, I didn't feel I was missing out, yet much better than before when I would have got myself a king size snickers!!
Anyway, hope you're all ok
Sorry to hear about your probs Victory - hugs to you, hope it gets better for you soon. I used to have a nightmare boss and it was horrendous. It takes over your whole life obsessing about it. She tried to get me fired at one point, but HR told her she couldn't!
Anyway I now work for myself, so not much point moaning about my boss!! It has given me a great sense of independence and self-confidence which I didn't have before and I really enjoy it.
Have a good day all and keep up the good work.

Just a quick one today, I have not been here for couple of days and also exhausted.I am now 10.5.6 / again not a big loss but a loss is a loss. I am actually celebrating loosing excatly 2 stone since last year November, slow progress but everyone says I look better. However I am finding it difficult to loose any more and a bit frustrated because I still need to loose two more stones...It will happen though ;-))
My congratulations to all the loosers this week xDon't forget smiling:):)

Wanttobefree... you want to be 8 and a half stone? you'll be tiny!
Victory... i cant believe that nobody asked how you were when you went back to work. is it like one big gang and you're not in it , or is it just the boss that doesnt like you and the other staff just dont want to get on the wrong side of the boss themselves? Grrr hearing stuff like that makes me want to bang heads together. Call themselves professionals!0 -
Me too. All that plain water makes me feel like i'm drowning! At the beginning of each week I make up 8x 1.5 litre bottles of sugar free squash and put it all in the bottom of the fridge. That way I've always got a chilled drink on hand and if theres any left at the end of the week, I know then that I havent been drinking enough.

you do not need to go mad on drinking water, the 8 glasses of water / 2ltrs of water originates from US Army testing for WWII but what is always omitted is that the 2ltrs includes the water in the food you eat! (and that they where active soldiers)
your size also makes a big difference, a little 8st person would be able to get away with a lot less than a 20 stone 6 foot guy
you do not need to force feed yourself fluid, 99% of the time your body will tell you if you are thirsty
if you are on a high protein diet you will need to drink a bit more thou
