I started using the new WW iphone app this week and think it's brill. You can do enough on the move to mean it's now how I'm keeping track of my food eg using my phone in the kitchen while cooking is quicker than walking upstairs to the computer. Although it meant my phone did get rather sticky and covered in sauce one night.Slimmer of the week is mine I tell you ~mine:rotfl::p
As a special favour to beanilou I've had a bad week - please put me down as STS this week Fred. Please can I join the lose 5lbs in February challenge when it starts too. Do you weigh each week as normal and just use your first one that month or do you weigh on 31st or 1st too?
I had this vision of myself recoiling in horror from the fat photo on the fridge whilst chewing gum and tripping over my scales! Must start using mint flavour things again, that used to work well. Last night I got through with some slimline ginger ale when I felt nibblish. I'd been drinking water all day so it seemed interesting and sugary enough to satisfy me and I had daily points left over for the first time.
My week 18 - 24 January
I started well Tuesday - Thursday and had 35 weekly points left on Friday compared with 4 the previous week. In spite of me buying a big pack of Doritos 'to share' with friends on Thursday and scarfing almost all of them myself. Friday was OH birthday and I threw caution to the winds. KFC, cooked brekky, meals out, loads of booze and as a result I am actually pleased to STS! I was 75 points over on the week. The good thing about this (apart from not beating Beanie to SOTW!) is that I recorded everything and got back to it on Monday. I was feeling guilty and low and frustrated Monday and Tuesday at blowing it in Week 2 but managed to get to the WW meeting and came out feeling much more positive. Plus all the great weight losses from last week's new members were very inspiring.
Exercise wise I managed 22 compared with 26 last week. I was hungover on Sunday and only did the bare minimum of 30 minutes walking to keep my new year's resolution.
Areas I want to focus on this week:- Keep weekly points back for the weekend
- Avoid spending a meal's worth of points on a huge bag of salty snacks on Thursday
- Beat 22 points of exercise - go for 3+ each day
- Come closer to sticking to my weekly points - I've been over 53 Week 1 and then 75 Week 2 so aiming for 50 or less

Well done all losers!
I'm a 1lb loss from when I was last on the chart despite a couple of blips so not too bad.
Ive got an interview on Monday for a job I want sooooo badly and I think the stress is helping me not eat!0 -
Thanks everyone, son is having tests, blood, urine and semen(sp) when we get the results back we shall know.
I went to the docs and the one I do not like so much, have a cough, cough she said, I did, oh I see you have asthma:eek: how can you tell from one cough? I queried it and she said ok maybe bronchitis then:rotfl::rotfl:queried some more ok I will give you penicillen(sp) for what the cough? the asthma or the bronchitis?:rotfl: then she proceeded to say a person my age with being a smoker have damaged my lungs and yes I am asthmatic:rotfl:
When I suggested there should be more tests to run rather than just say you are asthmatic she said well do you want an xray I suppose I could give you an xray?0 -
Good luck for monday then funnelly.
I think youre going to do it beanie!
not long to go now :-)0
