My dream was not about kit kats but going on a plane to australia, I am a smoker and we had to rush to the plane to get on it in the dream and I kept saying I could not get on because where would I smoke, they kept pulling me on and I was screaming no....:rotfl::rotfl:

I have just seen on the tele an ad for BL shakes, now that is a disappointment if they are advertising that as a diet because never on any of the versions of the BL do they give the contestants shakes for breakfast and lunch ,they always plan in advance healthy meals and are seen eating them, they go to great lengths to explain what is good and bad, get chefs in so they can pratice themselves etc only to do the shake diet? Very disappointed

yep they are sponsoring the show with them too - my thoughts exactly, very disappointing and a bit hypocritical

Is it okay to join this? I've already started with the weight loss, and have 1kg to lose, until a total of 20kg lost. My BMI at the moment is 27.1. I'm aiming to get to a BMI of about 22 so got about 13kg to go. I've recently been slacking quite a bit exercise wise, so hoping to get some motivation to continue. I want to be a size 10 or so by the summer, so hoping to get there.

Bla Bla bloody Blah!!! Knee's gone out big time again, so I crawled into work today, done practically nothing, and managed to sweet talk manager into long weekend off. So the little bit of exercise I have been doing is now kicked into touch. I plan on doing as little as possible and eating as little as possible all weekend.

I've only seen a couple of the BL USA episodes, but read all the chat on here about it. I was in Tesco on Wednesday and was amazed to see the Biggest Loser 'meal replacement' bars, soups & shakes.... in other words, Slimfast! There was I thinking that BL was all about adapting to a healthy eating regime, and doing lots of exercise, but it appears that's not their ethos at all. Very disappointing, and very irresponsible for such a well-known show to be involved with. Shame on them. The problem is that misguided people will believe that eating those will enable them to have massive weight-loss each week, and that it's the miracle cure. There's definitely not enough calories in those replacements to be able to exercise to the extent they do in the shows. I can't be doing with the sob story x-factor style show, so find it impossible to watch BL, which is a shame because I do like motivational weightloss programmes.

Mazza - what a booger about your knee again, what made it go again? Get plenty of rest, be sensible with your food, so that you don't feel bad about that issue too, and look after yourself.

Meal plan today : Extra Easy

B - ham, raw carrots (I know this is weird, but I was nibbling while I was busy cooking)
    L - Quiche (inc. peppers/mushrooms/tomato/onions), beans, bacon
D - Bolognese (inc. extra lean beef, tomatoes, carrots, celery, mushrooms, peppers, onions, garlic) & w/m pasta
    HeA - milk
HeB - Fibre bar, eaten as a post-gym snack

No syns so far, and if I need a snack I can have a f/f yogurt, so that will more than compensate for my KFC blow-out on Wednesday, and mean I am completely up to speed with weekly syns, with possibly a few in the bank too.

Right, I'm off to the gym with Beelzibub in a short while, so had best get changed.

Argh!! I have been eating really healthily and have not exceeded 1400 calories a day for almost 2 weeks, and all I've lost is 1lb :( I will keep going though, and start exercising too, that should shift some fat

a lot depends on your size and how much you have left to loose
1/2 lb is a respectable loss say for a smaller lady close to goal

    Hi Guys

What are we going to do tomorrow when the site is down??:( I'm due to get weighed in the morning and I don't know if the site being off will be a blessing or a curse:). It depends on what the scales say.

I hope to have lost, but its that TOTM and its not looking too good.

Ive stuck to my healthy eating plan all week, but with working I haven't managed to get on my wii. Too much to do and not enough hours in the day.

I've also booked my fist power plate session at the gym on Sunday, so once i've been I'll let you know what its like. Has anyone else tried it?

I've lost 4lb according to my wii fit although I weighed in lighter trousers today so it's realistically going to be -3lb :)

Biking to work and NOT eating a whole tub of ben and jerry's a time seems to of paid off.

    Well Done KK.

Ive been good on my healthy eating plan. For Breakfast it was old favourite - sweet cinnamon porridge. Dinner was 3x rice cakes with peanut butter (no sugar) and banana with a cup of tea. Supper was scrambled egg on 2 x toast. I know its bread, but I'm hoping the carbs disappear overnight before I step on the scales in the morning:o
