Just a quick reminder for everyone when they post their losses this week:
It's a new month so if you want to take part in the 5lb challenge please post with your result so I can add you to the chart - it starts afresh each month.
North v South - please post if you wish to take part in round 2 - so far taking part are:
Fellpony, Mazza, Puddings, Romylou
and
Bex2002, Eric, Sarymclary, Vix and Safesound.0 -
Hello everyone - do you remember me? I have been going to SW for a years on and off but took a break a few months back as I found I just wasn't losing weight and I was totally obsessing about food. So I took a step back from the club and these forums - and lost another 11 lbs!:j
I went back to SW two weeks ago and lost 1.5 lbs my first week and 4 lbs this week. I think if you have been dieting for ages, sometimes it helps to have a little break from it - it sort of relieves the pressure and as long as you don't go mad, it can sometimes surprise you with a loss:T
Not sure if I am still hidden some where on the chart if not shall I pm someone with my current weight? I think I am now running at almost 7 stone loss so far?
Love

sts for me too. No 5lb challenge for me this month. I will be happy to STS until winter is over tbh. Warmer :rotfl:4 Stones and 0 pounds or 25.4kg lighter :j0

STS for me too! I don't think my "head" was in slimming mode this week. I need to get my mental attitude right before I start seeing any changes on the scales I think!
Thanks Fredsnail for running this thread
And Thanks to everyone who posts - it helps me think about what I'm putting into my mouth!

Thanks g! Must say although I admire your commitment about refusing any "treats" in life - just discipline, it is not the way I would want to live my life! Life is there to be enjoyed, I will lose the weight I need to lose but I certainly intend to enjoy the journey and the final destination once I get there! There will be treats!:rotfl::rotfl:

i came home to the uk in the summer and my weight zoomed up--where i live alcohol and junk food is proportionately expensive against wages so it is easier to refuse--i think of the money and know if i eat as i want i will pile on the lbs(kgs)--i put on 6kgs in one month on my holiday so now i content myself in eating with discipline--i keep to about 1200 to 1400 calories a day which is quite normal for people here and dont drink alcohol--which is also normal in a muslim country--thats why the price is so high!--people eat a lot of vegitarian dishes and very little meat which once you adjust to it is quite enjoyable--they supplement with yoghurt and if your not watching the lbs nuts -mfw'11 No68- 55k mortgage İO--little to nothing saved! i must do better.0
