Interesting eric. True in places. My gym workout this morning left me hungry like the wolf, and sometimes after a gym sesh i'll go to a cafe and eat more than i would have....because ive been to the gym!
Still, i feel better for it rather than anything else, so thats the positive i take!
Intersting as nothing removes my hunger faster than training and for 3-4 hours post training0 -
Oh yea i can get that too, i'll go to the gym and then it totally removes my hunger for ages. Today it didnt. Perhaps it depends what type of workout you do, my heart rate was at a 170 for most of it, and then i did some weights. Normally i would skip the weights part. Now i say weights, the highest i get to is about 9-11 on some machines.0

my heart rate was about 170 today.
there's nothing quite like getting the car insurance renewal through to give your heart a good workout ;-)
De1amo - 11kg well done, it's all in the right direction so whatever you're doing, keep doing it, was laughing at your comment "am married and dont drink much alcohol"... Round here, being married is usually a reason to drink more alcohol, lots more, and in a "vodka on the cornflakes" sort of way too. Something to do with escaping from reality whatever that means ;-)0 -

I have gradually worked up to 130-140 over the last 4 weeks, worried about going higher with the condition ..0 -

Well done Neilersmc, that is a fantastic weight loss!!
Pudding, heart rates in our house rocket once a month, nothing hormonal it's when the credit card bill comes in!!
Eric, you be careful with raising your heart rate too much!! We like having you on here, and they do not allow tinterweb on the cardiac ward, aparently you can get stuff on the tinterweb that might raise a gents heart rate.
I am trying to sort out my breakfast habits at the mo, I find I can go most of the day without eating crap if I miss breakfast but if I eat breakfast I want to eat all day, and eat everything. I was wondering what the thoughts were on the Belvita brecky biccys? Any thoughts would be apreciated, thank you!You never know how strong you are until you have no other option.0 -

fell those breakfast biscuits we have them all the time because they are not a commercial success and everywhere you go they are 1/2 price but we never have them for breakfast, OH says it is ridiculous to think you would have 4 biscuits and then not want anything until lunch time that it would not work and he is not prepared to starve his way to lunch time on 4 bikkies, so we have them in the evenings, in their lunch boxes, with a cuppa but not for breakfast, they are lovely I like the plain ones and they like the fruit ones so bonus but I can't see that they would be enough for breakfast, say if you had 4 digestives would you be walking around going 'crumbs I am so full':rotfl::rotfl:
I know they have slow energy release but even so0 -
Wow - well done Neil
It's a loss of 1.8lbs for me this week, please fred. Slow and steady etc..and I am getting ever closer to my 50lbs/50% target which I would like to reach by 16th November (2 weeks time) - maybe I should step up (or actually do some) exercise...!0 -
Good luck vixstar! I'm finding the forums really help to keep me focused. If I feel like i'm having a bad day, I have a read of what other people are up to and it does help.0
