I'm almost tempted to put that in my signature.

ETA: ALthough I am puzzled as to what prompted you to say it.

You may be puzzled but it is very true, and I agree 100%

You know sometimes I forget I've successfully reared a child thing with out the help of an internet forum... or in fact the internet as there was no such thing in those days!!

He is very much alive, has good health, in top sets for everything, doesn't smoke or drink or take drugs and if Daisypoos turns out to be anything like him I'll be a very proud mummy:D

Unlike my DD1 who is only 8 and already a pain in the backside :o

....I bet now he comes home tomorrow !!!!!!, smelling of fags and with a letter from school saying he's been kicked out;):rotfl:

I didn't have the internet before and now I don't know what I ever did without it :o

  • My one piece of advice Mel, do not use on underarms. :( OUCH OUCH OUCH! And I actually enjoy having my legs waxed and eyebrows plucked.

Well, A is up already. :'( And so it begins... I am going to cry lots tomorrow if she does another 1-4 again.

Last time I bought one was 1999 - I think they've changed a bit since then.

I was rubbish at English - it was one of my worst GCSE grades.

Mel - I have this one, I only tend to use the epilator bit on my chin, I've used it on my legs once, it took a while as I took it slowly, but the glove definitely helped.

I do keep meaning to use it properly more often but with weekly swimming I can't get my legs hairy enough for it to be effective.

ETA: No brave enough for underarms. Only ever had my eyebrows waxed once, never again. I have enough hassle controlling my hairy chiny chin chin without adding my eyebrows to the mix.

I'm not a believer in any of that painful stuff. I shave armpits to stave off BO and legs if I'm going swimming. Sexy or what :o:rotfl:

I didn't mind it. When I was a student my friend borrowed mine to try one out before buying and then ran round the corridor yelling that it was a torture device. She then bought one and determinedly used it because she said that if I could use it then she thought she should be able to put up with it.
