Just as I thought I was starting to get somewhere with the packing, my deadline for a report I've been doing for a friend came forward by several days, and she texted me asking for the finished article by today! Cue a late night, trying to get it finished. Then this morning, hubby is still feeling dire and so he's at home in bed again. I was about to leave this monring to take A to school, when she started being sick. I've had to keep her home, much to her dismay as she was meant to be an angel in the school nativity today
. But she keeps being sick - I put her to bed with a tub to be sick in and she missed and it went all over the bed (nightie, sheet, duvet, pillow: everything) - shame I've packed all the bedding! I had kept one sheet out for emergencies, so I've been able to replace that, but had to give her the blanket off our bed. I've no washing machine til we move, so I've dumped everything in the bath and had to run out for some travel washing stuff - just putting off trying to wash it now.... Then I can get back to packing

E is quite keen on the mirror, there is a long mirror in the hall and we often find him standing in front of it practising different faces!
OH was in lots of pelvic/cramping pain this morning but has still insisted on going to toddler group  I told her many times I would go instead but she really wanted to. When she first staggered down the hall in her dressing gown this morning to the toilet, she had to stop and groan a bit from hip pain...... E was watching her with great concern. When she got to the toilet and sat down, he rushed up and placed a pair of knickers he had snatched from the laundry hamper on her knee, patted it and said "Ahhhh...good. Much better." and left.

I wish I could do something to help but in the absence of excessively long arms I can't.

That made me smile. Thank-you.
Thanks for the nice comments, it helps! I've now tackled the sicky bedclothes and got them washed and on the radiators, so I feel a bit more positive now that's out the way.
Apologies for the me, me, me posts and thank-you all for being so supportive.
I hope all the other poorly little ones are feeling better very soon xx.
I better get back to the packing now, so that I can at least feel that progress is being made.Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'

Sending some packing vibes your way, redstar. It sounds like you are having an unbelievably hard time of it at the moment, so I hope it will soon all be worth it for you in your new house. I think you're doing brilliantly.
No-one look at the Thorntons free hamper when you spend £60 offer. It is a very expensive look , but very yummy.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
Omg I am not moneysaving at all but I don't think I could ever bring myself to spend so much on chocolate :rotfl:
Plus, you might end up with some really sick chocolates, like coffee or turkish delight _pale_0 -
