Mirrors - when MIL is over, she puts him front of the mirror, calling it the "Mutual Appreciation Society". It makes me laugh. :D

    Hope twin1 feels better, delain.

Is A all right now Michelle?

Sorry to hear about your sicky LO. A isnt any better, it feels like its been forever. She has been up from 1-4am for the past 3 nights so were like zombies. :( She did sleep a little longer last night but she was sick all over our bed at about 3 am so had to get everything changed. In the end, DH was in the spare room and A was in with me. Shes been sick again this morning, all over the sofa- so lots of washing to do. Im guessing its all the flem that shes been swallowing. Yuk.

Becles, Charlotte is so cute - was she concerned about Katy Perry's sore knee? :rotfl:

Susan, I would never have guessed English wasn't one of your strong subjects either.

Madam isn't impressed by mirrors. She glares at the baby in the mirror getting kissed, not realising it's her.

Smartie - I'm a planner too, I had Katie's christening planned (in my head) before she was even born. I've also known which primary school I would prefer her to attend.

Weaning is such a minefield isn't it? Before properly weaning Katie I would let her suck the juice out of fruit from about 20 weeks, she loved grapes, apples and strawberries, I used to get some looks at my bf group. I got to 25 weeks before weaning when she grabbed a bread stick out of my hand and started munching on it! I got away with purees for 2 months before she decided self feeding was the way to go - apparently Christmas Dinner is good finger food!

I read your post and thought that's exactly like Katie was and she was just learning how the eating thing worked, does she copy the movements your mouth makes, I found that very cute.

Daisy will be ready when she's ready, if it's earlier than "they" say so what it what she needs.

    Thanks :)

Yes Daisy does copy mouth movements... and licks her lips if we're eating something yummy!!:rotfl:

Hugs for poorlies and tired people:A

When my friend was taking photos of Daisy at weekend (proper photoshoot pics;)) she was singing "you're so vain" because Daisy was loving the camera... she wouldn't take her eyes off of it and was chatting away to it!!:rotfl:

E is quite keen on the mirror, there is a long mirror in the hall and we often find him standing in front of it practising different faces!

OH was in lots of pelvic/cramping pain this morning but has still insisted on going to toddler group  I told her many times I would go instead but she really wanted to. When she first staggered down the hall in her dressing gown this morning to the toilet, she had to stop and groan a bit from hip pain... :( ... E was watching her with great concern. When she got to the toilet and sat down, he rushed up and placed a pair of knickers he had snatched from the laundry hamper on her knee, patted it and said "Ahhhh...good. Much better." and left.

  • Morning (just!) everyone. I haven't had a chance to read back so apologies for those people I've missed and hugs to anyone who may need them. Just as I thought I was starting to get somewhere with the packing, my deadline for a report I've been doing for a friend came forward by several days, and she texted me asking for the finished article by today! Cue a late night, trying to get it finished. Then this morning, hubby is still feeling dire and so he's at home in bed again. I was about to leave this monring to take A to school, when she started being sick. I've had to keep her home, much to her dismay as she was meant to be an angel in the school nativity today :(. But she keeps being sick - I put her to bed with a tub to be sick in and she missed and it went all over the bed (nightie, sheet, duvet, pillow: everything) - shame I've packed all the bedding! I had kept one sheet out for emergencies, so I've been able to replace that, but had to give her the blanket off our bed. I've no washing machine til we move, so I've dumped everything in the bath and had to run out for some travel washing stuff - just putting off trying to wash it now.... Then I can get back to packing :(
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
