It's not painful on the face, but then it's not such a big area to cover, plus its faster than tweezers and gets the ones the tweezers miss.
I sound like a hairy mingerPCOS has that effect.
I've only ever used it on my legs once, it wasn't too bad, it just took a long time, either that I have exceptionally hairy legs.
Delain - I only do for swimming but as I go weekly it gets done v early on a Saturday morning.Proud to be dealing with my debts

Katy Perry texted Charlotte earlier to tell her that she'd bumped her knee.

morning x
Well after saying yesterday that little man is not awake much he then had a feed at 8:30pm and stayed up till 10pm the little monkey. Someone needs to tell him that 5am is no good for his morning feed either - for 2 reasons - its too early and DS1 thinks its a good time to keep me up from after plus it means his next feed is probably going to be due during the school run, now I don't know wether to wake him and feed before we go or wait till we get back and hope he doesn't wake cos he will scream till he gets it.
I had my eyebrows threaded for the first time a couple of weeks ago and she done my top lip at the same time which hurt so much but its lasted so well. I have an epilator but it is buried somewhere because its so painful. I do have a patch on my legs though that is permanently less hairy now because its the area that gets done whenever I do dig it out, I've never managed a whole leg let alone 2 lol.0 -
Morning. Early start here but better night last night (although by no means good). I don't think H has slept through since he's turned one:eek:. I hope that doesn't last.
Lots of stay warm vibes for those who are still snowed in. Some of the scenes on the news are almost unbelievable so I really feel for you.
I have the Groupon cleaners coming today, hopefully. This is the third re-book so I will believe it when I see it! I need to do some posting todayand I also need to get my works Secret Santa! It's 2-3 items totalling £10 and then everyone gets to pick a present, and you can steal presents from other people etc etc. I'm sure it will be a lot of fun but it makes buying a bit hard. I have a little mini hot stone massage kit so far and I plan to buy some pants(!) and either some chocolate or a bottle of wine. Unless anyone has any brilliant ideas.....

Morning
Hope everyone is safe and warm in the bad weather.
I used my Mam's epilator once and did a small patch on my leg before giving up as it was too painfulMy body hair is fair and very fine so you can hardly see it anyway. Lucky girl
Bad nights sleep. Woke up at 2am as Charlotte was coughing, then I couldn't get back to sleep. Was up reading for ages.
Am shattered now and can't be bothered to go to work, but really must get out and get some jobs done.
Have a good day all xxHere I go again on my own....0 -
Morning all
Anyone still shopping for toddler+ age kids, this link has some worthwhile shopping links in it http://www.oomphalos.co.uk/2010/12/gift-ideas-ring-are-you-listening/
It's the blog of a friend of a friend - I don't actually like it much but in this one she had gone to a lot of effort making present suggestions and I found it vaguely useful
Hoping the bad sleepers have taken a step in the right direction today!0 -
I go back and forth with my epilator. It is one of those things that the more you use, it the less painful it becomes. Legs do take a while to do a thorough job, hence why sometimes I go off it in favor of a quick shave. I was only brave enough to try bikini area once - never again!
Hope Katie is better today, MDW.
Sorry Smartie if you thought my post sounded patronising, I was just answering your question with my own experiences.
Finn seems noticeably better today...I'm sure DH will still insist on keeping his doctor's appt, especially because he seems to have gotten better at least twice before and then gone back to being whingypants.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

I woke up lying on my belly this morning... It's gone all soft and small... Hope the baby didn't fall out in the night...A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

You probably just displaced all your intestines and whatnot :rotfl:
Well twin1 is vomitous nowI was changing beds at 4am! Had to send the others to school in a taxi because she had sick in her hair and couldn't take her out on the bus like that. She seems back to normal now though but I've sent her upstairs to go to bed, but then she asked me if she could tidy the bedroom instead :eek: Maybe I was being a bit premature when I said she was back to her normal self, if anything she's improved :rotfl:
Is A all right now Michelle?
Hugs to everyone else with poorly babies :grouphug:
Squeak has discovered she is vain lol I went and stood in front of the mirror with her and she spent ages grinning at herself :rotfl:Mum of several with a twisted sense of humour and a laundry obsession:o
