  • Boo Hiss for infections but yay for getting something for them.

If Katie isn't better by Thursday I'll have to brave the triage system at our Dr surgery - I can never get past it to see an actual human GP.

:( At least though you've got something for it and now you know that you were right in thinking something was wrong.

poor Finn hope he is well soon along with all the other mummies and babies!

I have just about finished my christams shopping :D i have my mum and OH to buy for and thats it!!!!!! have just been packing families presents up and my tree is overflowing with presents :D just the lot in the attic to wrap and a wee movie hamper to make for the kids and i can sit back and relax! i hope the deliveries get a move on as i hate having to wait PMSl!

Kids are back tomorrow, they sent a text at 11.50 saying the school was now open after it being closed online? By the sounds of it parents were dropping the kids at the gate and going to work so school had no choice but to open?

Becles, Charlotte is so cute - was she concerned about Katy Perry's sore knee? :rotfl:

She was concerned. I asked her about it today, and apparently the knee is feeling better and Cheryl Cole texted to say she's having fish and chips for tea. Charlotte is wondering if she has tarter sauce or tomato sauce with her fish.

What a nightmare day Red. Hope you get a chance to chill out at some point.

*hugs* to all the poorly babies.

Managed to get caught up and have finished last weeks work now! It's been a nightmare rejigging my diary depending on where I can get to with the roads. It's still thick of snow and ice here. Journey's are long and I really have to concentrate on driving, so I'm mega tired.

Our bin lorry didn't come last week as the street was too dangerous. It's not coming again tomorrow, so they have said we have to decant the wheelie bin into black sacks and they will carry them to a bin lorry on the main road. Not nice having to fish two week old rubbish out of the bin :( The recycling is suspended until further notice, so that's all building up in the garage too.
Here I go again on my own....

_pale_ Although at least they'll do something. Last year I phoned up to ask when they were collecting just to save keeping the wheelie bins in the street and was told I should "do my bit" and drive to the tip. The woman I spoke to said that she hadn't had her rubbish collected for two whole weeks so she had driven to the tip. I refrained from pointing out that ours was only fortnightly anyway but I did point out that when a lorry with a JCB could go up the street a bin lorry should be able to.

We're going carbooting soon - I have about 5 bin bags of girls clothes to get rid of
I wish I could send you all our [STRIKE]crap[/STRIKE] treasure for carbooting too.
Plus, you might end up with some really sick chocolates, like coffee or turkish delight _pale_

Anyone else who doesn't like coffee chocolate/cake can feel free to post any they aqcuire to me :D:D

I'll take care of the Turkish Delight.

Becles, Cheryl Cole strikes me as a balsamic vinegar type.

Aless, sorry Finn's not well but I'm glad you have something for it now and it's not just a nameless worry IYSWIM.

Krystal, I'm glad your littlest is safely tucked up terrorising your intestines and hasn't fallen out on your way to the toilet or anything. Although you'd think with the umbilical cord getting tangled round your feet you'd notice.

Busy day here, I am glad to be home and sitting down.
