  • Our tree isn't going up until the weekend after next... The least time spent fetching Caitlyn off it the better... I'm in no rush for it!
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

We've either got more thunder or some snow just fell off the roof.

I cant remember what tree we have in the attic?? i would love a real one but as the kids have asthma(no problems since we moved to new house??) i am not wanting to take a chance in it setting them off :(
Alice has never had excema since we moved house - I'm convinced it was because of the damp/mould as I've also been able to go down to a much lower antihistamine dose in winter. Fake trees are less hassle - I've always had real but we got a fake one for 99p in Homebase in January - it was £29.99 originally!

We told Alice that Christmas and Winter didn't start until December but since Winter was revised she thinks Christmas should be too. She's so happy that winter came early.

  • We have a fake tree, donated by my parents as it's too big for their house. Just need to rearrange the living room and we'll have space for the tree.

I normally put it up 12 days before Christmas and take it down on the 6th.

I'm hoping to get some paper chains so that Katie can leave them out for the Christmas Tree fairies to put up.

We can't put edible decorations on our tree as the dog would knock the tree over to eat them. No baubles low down as the cats would be after them so we have a very odd looking tree.

That's so cute of Alice, thinking Christmas will now be early.

I've got Katie desperate for decent snow as she enjoyed her snow walk earlier this year.

Thanks Caz :) I'm good but a bit hectic busy with work plus family now that OH is at the stage of needing help to put shoes on or get out of bed in the night, etc!
Take your lie-ins where you can I say, think I've had 2 mornings later than 8am since E was born, and most of them were 7am at the latest (between him and my own alarm for work...)!

    'Night all.
  • You're most welcome, Mel :). Hope that some of it, at least, is of use.
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)
  • Wow Bruno, that is pretty hard core. We generally take it in turns when we are both off work, or neither of us are in early. I probably get one past 8am lie in a week....not that I am boasting, just musing :o.

Which reminds me that H is probably (weather permitting) staying with his Grandparents Friday night so DH and I can have a decent night's sleep, a lie in and a day's Christmas shopping on our own. He will be a whole stretch of water away from us . I will probably cry :p but am :D about the sleep.

Mel- I don't think H really sat up at T's age. He just suddenly did it one day after being totally unable to up until that point.

:grouphug: Alice wasn't really doing those things particularly at those ages. I don't think she ever rolled that much.

  • Katie was another one that didn't roll, she didn't chuckle either, she gave great big smiles but no noise would emerge.
