pah - we've had even more snow! At least I know have better provisions. Just as well as I don't think anyone is going far today.
Now I NEED a lovely warm snow-suitable jacket, and a woolly hat. hmmmmmm. Internet is only handy when there is a postal service! But we had snow in April this year, so I think i'll get plenty wear out of whatever I find, even if it's only gets here in time for the snow next year! Any recommendations.....r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
We have about 5 inches here - school closed so another day in the house. DH has gone to work - hope he doesn't get snowed out!

I neeeeeeed baby mittens. And long-sleeve vests. Any good codes floating about? Might look at ASDA. La Redoute don't have mittens, I looked already.
There's actually more on the ground than initially thought this morning...a good couple of inches, but still driveable. I love the quietness and weird quality sound takes on when there's snow on the ground.top 2013 wins: iPad, £50 dental care, £50 sportswear, £50 Nectar GC, £300 B&Q GC; jewellery, Bumbo, 12xPringles, 2xDiesel EDT, £25 Morrisons, £50 Loch Fyne

It was snowing when we got up but has now stopped and hasn't really settled.
Henry is off to the Isle of Wight, Ladybird. He was less than a month old when he first went on a ferry, but he really enjoys it now! I definitely recommend it as a day trip.
We got baby mittens in Tesco- two pairs for £1.50 I think. They are now threaded on wool through H's coat. I might even take a picture as it is very cute.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

I saw a TV ad for a down-filled coat half price, IMO the down filled ones are the most sensible although they are not terribly attractive.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

Ooooh, it's finally snowing here!!! Only a tiny bit, but still - snow!
Just taken A to school, just as I left F threw up all over his snowsuit. He was sick all over his coat last night, so I just had to wrap him in a blanket. I felt like a terrible mother, especially when one mum asked me if he didn't feel the cold.
DH has just rung to say that he's still not at work (was due there at 9am), he's stuck in traffic due to a really bad accident.

And can I just boast a little tiny bit about my little girl???:o
She had her 1st vaccinations this morning. Cried for about 10 seconds then turned to look at the nurse and gave her the biggest grins:D:D:D And apparently the doctor who did her postnatal check put on her notes that she's a gorgeous wonderful baby and he was smitten by her!!!:D I'm everso proud to be her mummy:o:)
Hope everyone is ok and keeping warm. Off to catch up....BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
