It's very scarey doing new things. I hope all the mummies (daddies??) and babies are of the nice sort!;)
You've just reminded me that I'm supposed to be trying a new group tomorrow with an old school friend I talked to at the school reunion. She lives a bit up the road and I didn't even realise!!:rotfl:BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -
Morning all
We have MORE snow! Luckily OH managed to get out for work. Realised this morn Friday is my works Xmas party, I am being picked up 5pm and OH won't be home until 6pm. Not sure what to do about T as my mum has the flu, my sis will be working and don't know who else could help! So may have to drive myself later
T has cut his 1st tooth! It popped thru last night, do wish T could have waited until he was 6 months though as it feels like he's growing too fast0 -
ITS STILL SNOWING!!!! I wish it would go as i have lots to get done and cant get out to do it, hoping it will ease for a while so i can get into town for supplies. The local shop has nothing and we are running low.
Didnt get much sleep between cats moaning and Erin crying and ending up in beside us, she has a bit of a temp and was sick so could be a bug?? hoping to get an hour on the seatee later!
Poor you SS cant be much fun stuck in a hotelgood news on OH feeling better!!

I've just converted ours for Cadburys world - do they send the vouchers through the post or via email? Have a good day.
Kitkat - :j for 1st tooth.
Smartie - D sounds adorable.
SS - hope you can get home soon - must be driving you mad.
We have snow and quite a lot of it. School was shut yesterday due to a burst pipe and today every school in the area is shut, so kids home again. OH has taken them to buy a new sledge - we saw them yesterday in town but didn't think to buy one  so they have walked in to town today and the nice man is saving them one.
My baby update - E is :A, she sleeps through 10pm til 6pm most nights and we only have to look at her and she gives us the biggest smiles like she hasn't seen us for ages. I need to start thinking about nurseries after xmas which is very
as I'm due back at work in May.
My big 2 are cheeky little chappies who are getting very excited about santa's visit.0 -

I just looked out my window and the ground looks white......bleurgh! As for decorations....I agree, there should be a ban on anything christmassy even being on display anywhere until December:p I usually put our up 12 days before and take down 12days after.....isn't that meant to be the tradition(like in the song!)
xx
Wouldn't that make it the 24 days of Christmas?
We take ours down on twelfth night, but I tend to put them up on the first Saturday in December - make the most of them! Benjamin is already very excited every time he sees 'danta' - he must be catching it from the CM's girls!!!
I have had a couple of hours off to play in the snow with Benjamin this morninghe loves it but doesn't like it on his hands, either with or without gloves!! I am now working from home because I am nervous about hubby and I being in the same place 20 miles away from Benjamin if the snow does get worse (we both work in the same office 20 mins down the road).
I might also get my christmas shopping finished
Urgh - have just spotted a bundled up nappy tucked on top of the books on the bottom shelf of the bookshelf...never trust a man to do a woman's job....even as baby boys they get distracted and don't manage to do the job properly!!!please listen to MFD - she is a wise womanProud Mummy to the gorgeous Benjamin John born 14 March 2009, 8lbs 14ozA new little seedling on the way, due 30 September 20120 -
sorry sami, I'm not quite clear, you're too subtle for me, you feel what about early Christmas decorations exactly?
Do you know what annoys me the most, one house down the road has a light up helicopter in the window - a helicopter?! !!!!!! has that got to do with Christmas?! Bah humbug until tomorrowI can finally join in and say.... WE HAVE SNOW!! Only about 1mm but hey ho shouldn't complain!;)
And can I just boast a little tiny bit about my little girl???:o
She had her 1st vaccinations this morning. Cried for about 10 seconds then turned to look at the nurse and gave her the biggest grins:D:D:D And apparently the doctor who did her postnatal check put on her notes that she's a gorgeous wonderful baby and he was smitten by her!!!:D I'm everso proud to be her mummy:o:)
Hope everyone is ok and keeping warm. Off to catch up....
We have a whole 1cm of snow - sarcastic woo.
I've got my 'housekeeping' off hubby so need to sort out food shopping, I'm thinking BB4L and Approved foods first then Asda and maybe pop in Tesco for fancy bits, my Asda never has much choice in anything remotely exotic they often don't even have more than 1 type of pesto :rotfl:
ooh local weather says we may get upto 5cm snow here today, 10cm on the high bits.
Rmac I think you need a proper outdoorsy jacket for the snow. I'm wearing my O'neil ski jacket - pricey but I got it MSE stylee, its a large kids one and I had a 25% off voucherI've had it 5yrs now and its in great condition. Features I like are it has a sort of fingerless glove attached so when you have you actual gloves on theres no way cold is getting in your sleeves, it has a snowskirt so when you do that up, you won't get a cold breeze up your back when bending over to see to A, it has a breast pocket on the outside so you can keep something like your phone handy and not have to freeze to get it out, there are zips on the arm pit bit so if you get a bit too warm unzip them for a lil breeze where you need it
Cheaper options would be tog24 they do a nice polka dot ski jacket and almost always have offers on in store.0
