going by the school website they are to be open tomorrow?? i dont see how as there have been no buses/tractors/cars down the road all night lol!!

Have been on a mad cleaning spree as i need the living room carpet cleaned as it is a brown colour and should really be cream? I can then get the tree up and have a festive living room :D
Does anyone have their tree up yet?

  • No - I still can't plan Christmas :( I am throughly fed up. I need to get Katie's dollshouse. Plus the stuff for neices and nephews, mum, dad and DH.

I don't know what we're eating for Christmas Dinner, and I'm normally adding it to my weekly shopping by now.

Oh and we need new lights for our tree we only had lights on half the tree last year.

Im not that great at it though :(

I read that first line and thought maybe I would come visit you. Then I read the second one :rotfl:. (Not that I don't want to come visit you of course, but I might get someone else to do my ears ;) )

Caz we have invested in a new tree this year, and it is in the box in the corner. We might put it up at the weekend :j.

Ours isn't going up till December so Wednesday. (Although currently the house is too messy to fit a tree anywhere.)

MDW I hope all that stuff gets sorted out for you soon - it must be very frustrating to have it dragging out like this.

Perhaps there is too much snow for them to reach the website for an update?
  • Yes, I am extremely frustrated.

This week I'm concentrating on deciding on what's going in the picnic for our trip to Cadbury's World, it's a surprise for Katie as she's been bugging us for ages to visit a chocolate factory.

Katie won't be completely presentless from her parents as I bought these before I finished work.

  • I know, I knew it would take some time but a whole month with only DH's money has been a real struggle, I think I'll feel better once the JSA and any Tax Credits increase kicks in.

Anyway, I have a surprise planned for Katie at the weekend - we're off to Cadbury's World, thanks to Tesco Rewards, she's been bugging us for ages to go to a chocolate factory.
