Not much on Lily, umm.. her standing alone practice has gone backwards. When i used to let go of her she would stand for a few seconds alone and then she did it for ages. Now she gets scared and just sits down or grabs my arms and hugs me.
She said "Dadadada daaaadeeeee" the other day, it was very sweet. All i get is "Maaaaa" when she's crying
Oh, something v. cute. At her hearing test, we were in the waiting room and Lily crawled over to a 4yr old girl and started playing with her and smiling and laughing with her. I think she's going to be a fab big sister0 -
Gill - yeay for T, he'll be into everything now
But you'll have so much fun.
Gisi - H sounds like he is getting on fab, we used to have 12 and 13 year olds at cadets who could not catch a ball!!
While we were out shopping yesterday there was Santa in the centre so we popped T on his knee for a pic, she was not impressed! So we have a pic of her on santas knee cryingWe were going through the xmas pressies we have so far earlier, I had forgotten about some of the bits we had got..oops!
As for updates she started saying Dada on Monday and we have other sounds too
Thanks! MIL works in a middle school and she says he can catch better than some of their year 5's (10yo) :rotfl:. He doesn't get it from me.
:j For Dadas. It melts your heart, doesn't it?
SM- I hadn't really planned to think much about toilet training until after H is 2, although we do have a potty that he sits on while we run the bath. As everyone has said though they are all different.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -

Sorry.
Its known as the poo sniffIs it just me or do we need get many baby/child updates on here anymore? I don't feel like I know where any of the littlies are up to or how they are doing. I think it's all got a bit lost in recent 'things we don't talk about'.
Oooooooooooooh I feel well bad now, Im always jabbering about myself......
Anyways I'll start as it's been a big week for us here. After looking ready for some time Thomas finally sat unsupported on Monday
WOOHOO!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats amazing
Then yesterday after a month of rocking on all fours it finally clicked into place and he crawled across the rug. It was lovely coz DH and I were both here to see it. He's been crawling back and forward across the rug all day today as well so think I need my wits about me now!
Ahhh I'm so glad you got me back on track with not being so self involved (not that you are/were, but I was.... bad mummy!
I love hearing about Thomas, means I can start getting excited about L doing all these things...
Who's next?
:j
ME!
Well L today has been out in his snowsuit, ruddy freezing here, its one of those shaped ones, so he looked like a wee bear.... its even got a little tailHe gave it a right face when some falling snow got in his face.....
I think he's got a bit of a sniffle, was very unsettled come bed time and considering normally hes put down and left and hes asleep in 15 mins, tonight we had screaming, tears etc. Was ok when picked up, but was over tired..... DH finally got him to sleep after we were tag teaming trying to calm him as his screaming/crying was so loud.... I've been up to check on him and his breathing is very whistley...so i think his nose is a bit blocked and thats why he didnt like being laid down....
Progress wise though he's just starting to practice sittin upright by himself but one of us is always next to him, he grabs hold of his feet though, so is practically doubled over....
He's now managed to roll himself to the side and practically to the front but he struggles getting hs arm out from underneath himself....but he worked it out and then rolled himself back over to his back!!!!

Chris was super easy to PT, I'll be doing with Edgar the same as I did with him - waiting for him to suggest it
My top tip for going out with non nappy wearing boys is always have an empty plastic bottle with you - portable toiletalmost makes me not want any daughters

PMSL i have never heard that Sami but what a great idea!!!!! The girls were trained before they were 2 the boys just before they were 3 and Erin is in a world of her own! she is the baby and doesnt have to do anything PMSL! she hasnt shown any interest and would sit in a dirty nappy all day if you let her unlike the others, if i hadnt had her at home i would wonder if she had been switched
I must admit leaving C to his own devices has cut down my washing pile and we havent had many accidents during the day and none at night. What's for you won't go past you0 -

:T That's fab
And it's lovely reading everyone's updates - I've been smiling away to myself at Benjamin's dancing, Jasmine's asking if everything is hot and Henry's steps and barking. Clever Jayden drinking his milk from a beaker too.
EA - it sounds like Lily will be a lovely big sister
CAFC - it's good to hear the Mummy's jabbering about themselves too so don't feel bad about thatI totally know what you mean about how hearing about what other babys are doing - I love hearing about Tahlie, Lily and Elliot coz they're just a couple of months ahead of Thomas. (and Freddie as well but 3 weeks isn't so much of a difference) I remember T being like that with his arms stuck underneath him - very cute.
Sami - :rotfl:
I'm just about to set up my new Wii. It looks like I can rescue my miis by putting them on the wiimote and possibly put my other game data onto an sd card so it's all good. I would have liked to list my old wii on ebay tonight but I think it's a bit late now so will have to be tomorrow. What's the best time in the evening for an auction to finish? I'm thinking maybe 8pmish.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
