salesshopper, have you thought about expressing milk rather than moving onto formula? Just a thought, if you're worried about cost. A cheap electric pump would still be cheaper than formula for the next 6 months

Poorley Joe is with Alex at the IL's today. Temperature, bad cough and he said he felt dizzy when coming down the stairs. My poor big boy. Have been to the chemist on the way to work to get more Ibuprofen on the minor aliments scheme.
A light dusting of snow has arrived in Wigan. Noooo!. Don't want it. I will go into full panic having to drive in it. So i nipped out of work and went to Lidl and got some bread and milk, just in case it gets any worse.
Hope you manage to get get home SS.0 -

Sitting up 4 a little bit not very steady though. Does a wierd thing when lying on her back where she arches her back lifts of the floor and inches her feet up - she can travel quite far and in her cot I keep having to rescue her as she starts at the bottom and ends up wedged at the top. She has a massive bald patch where she has rubbed her hair off - shes like a monk lol. Still bf but going back to work in Jan (sob sob sob - no option have 2 go back) so will be giving her formula soon would like some advice/ other peoples experience on what brand/stage to give. On the odd occasion i've been away from her she has had ready to drink aptamil stage 1 - my god its expensive.
I'm so scared about weaning!!!! :rotfl:I just dont want to *wails*
L has the bald patch too, and he does the same up the other end of his cot and also manages to turn himself 90 degrees, and then whinges because his big fat head is stuck LOL :A
We keep a few cartons in for just in case/going out for longer periods/trips down south etc..... They are expensive, cheapest place i found for them was Tesco but by pence.... I think we'll just go on to next stage aptamil as L seems to have been fine with the two aptamils he's had so far....ss, have you thought about expressing milk rather than moving onto formula? Morning all!
Its been lovely reading reports on the LO's
Theo is 13 weeks, despite me panicking about him not supporting his head he can do it perfectly. He loves sucking/ chewing his hand, when he smiles he always sticks his tongue out and then giggles! He spends most of his time cooing/ ahhing/ oohing and near enough will have a conversation with you just making funny noises and pulling difference faces (its adorable) He has a fasination with his feet and will stare at them for ages. He can grab for things, hold onto stuff and likes to squeeze toys and then put into his mouth (infact everything seems to go into his mouth!) He has now outgrown his pram
so I have converted it to a pushchair and we will hopefully try it out soon
Hope he likes it facing out as he is incredibly nosey. If I kiss him he smiles and then starts cooing

Morning everyone.
I'm loving reading all the updates on the kiddies, and the snowy photos are great - I'm really jealous of all of you with snow, we still have none! (well, we had a bit of snow falling on Friday, but it didn't stick around).
Gill - hurrah for Thomas' crawling - and sitting. Although Freddie sits quite confidently now, and will sit happily playing with his toys, we're still not crawling yet - he just rocks back and forth on all fours.
CAFC - That's a gorgeous photo, I love it, he looks so happy there.
Saleshopper - I'm dreading going back to work after Christmas too. Really not looking forward to it at all.
GISI - Hurrah for 'dadda'!!!
EA - I'm sure Lily's going to be a lovely big sister, and it'll be lovely having the two of them so close together - they'll be able to play together.
SS - I hope hubby feels better soon. Are you going to be ok stuck over here? Are you alright for accommodation etc?
I'm really sorry, but I can't remember anything else, so I hope everyone's ok, and I'm sending hugs for anyone who needs them and hello's to everyone else.
Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky'
