  • SS we posted at the same time (again!) Poor you :( I hope you feel better soon. How long are you in scotland for?

I forgot to say I've got the day off today (and next week)... I've done myself a massive and probably unreasonable to do list of thing to do before I go back to work a week on Monday. I can get DH to do some of them too though, so we shall see!

Thanks for this Beccles, the results were amazing!! The dirt that came off was quite horrific though! After I did the necklaces I was raiding my jewellery for more to clean LOL. Do you know if its only suitable for silver, what about gold? (my mum actually asked me this!)

Not tried it with gold. I know the bicarb and foil thing is best for the tarnish on silver. With gold rings, I normally put them in a clear alcohol like vodka or gin and that loosens all the dirt, especially around stone settings. If you use a tiny schnapps glass, you don't waste much alcohol :rotfl:

Hope today is better CAFC xx

It's bound to be a struggle twoflowers. Take it easy on yourself and just do as much as you can xx

Hope you feel better soon SS xx

Another busy day again with loads of work to do.

Thanks ladies - I've no idea what happened but I've had a banana and some of Molly's oatcakes and feel much better now.

The child is attempting to put her banana in a drawer. I hope I don't forget about that before we leave...

Still, waking at 5am has its advantages. I've sorted my email, ignored all the ones I didn't care about and bagged a Black Friday deal. I'd love one of the camcorders happening at 4pm *pensive*

  • CAFC I hope you're no expecting a tip ;)

It is FREEZING out there this morning. I just took Izzy to nursery, and now my hands are like ice - I can't feel what they are typing, it is really odd! Anyway, best crack on with my massive to-do list. I'm having my coil fitted this afternoon, and so I expect I won't feel like doing anything when I come back, so I am determined to get useful things done this morning, and then I can finish my BP posting and whatnot then. Mind you, a few things on my to-do list are things on the computer/phone anyway (sorting out home insurance and stuff) so I can probably do some of those later even if I am feeling sorry for myself. but yes, I'm even going to turn the computer off until lunchtime. I'm THAT determined to be productive this morning ;)

    Talk to you all later!
