stinking rat bag still isnt out of bed....
I've finished all my emaily bits now, sterilised, made bottles, washing up from dinner that I cooked, fed L, changed L, dressed L, let Gordon out, made myself a cup of java, and am sat on floor playing with L whilst nattering on here.....

My mum is up to stay tomorrow for a few days so need to get my clean on!

Is your mum taking Gordon this time or is he behaving now?

its only payable for 39 weeks i know that much.....

    seen this though so :(

    How it's paid

Maternity Allowance can be paid every two weeks or every four weeks directly into your bank or building society.
The earliest you can get Maternity Allowance is from the 11th week before the week your baby's due. The latest you can get it is from the day following your child's birth.

No mum will be taking him back down south, he doesnt like the northern weather, and he's just not getting the attention he deserves and I know he'll be happier there... just hard to accept iyswim

So she's not sorted it out early enough. (not a sursprise lol)

I think you're making the right decision after his snap at Landen. As you say he'll be much happier and you're protecting both of them. I know it's not much consolation atm but at least he'll only be at your parents so you can still see him and Landen can still grow up with him.

Don't underestimate how hard this will be for you tho - keep talking to dh and us about it xxx

Ladybird- we are the same. DH and in-laws like to have the TV on all the time, even if it's just Sky News. I always turn it off and they think it's because I'm picky!

I think that means that the day after the birth is the latest start date you can choose, but you could presumably get it back dated with that as the official start?

Mystery shop for me this morning, the visiting friends later on.

Hugs for poorly folks, and poorly littlies.

gill, tell her to ignore any advice from the Jobcentre. They actually advised BIL to quit his college course because it 'may' interfere with attending his appointments. Luckily he managed to negotiate his apprenticeship hours up to 16 so he could get rid of the useless barstewards.

Sami, do you not realise the fluffy pics are bad grammar ON PURPOSE? It's supposed to be cute, silly! CAFC, don't listen to her. :p:p

CAFC your fluffy pictures annoy me, not because I don't enjoy a fluffy pic occasionally but because they have hideously bad spelling and grammar! 22.gif:p

Methinks someone missed the *fun thing* about lolcats
