I love magazine subscriptions... It's like the gift that keeps on giving :D

I know, me too. My Mum's just a fussy so and so lol. Do they do a similar (cheap?!) thing with books?

    Hello all

OH is on COD  I just feel like smashing it...

Question.. what is the 'normal' age for a baby to support its head.. I know its different for all babies but I just feel like T should be supporting himself more now. I tend to have him on my shoulder and he will hold his head then but not many other times.. and tummy time... o dear he just lies there and smiles.. making no attempt to lift his head... I am probably threating over nothing! But just kinda curious if I am doing something wrong.

I'm not sure, I think I've heard of something... But it was more novellas than books... Might be worth a look on amazon or something though...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Kitkat they do their own stuff at different times. Miss M did it very early but my friend's baby was seven months and not lifting his head at tummy time or sitting unaided (at 7.5 months he raised his head, raised his butt and started rocking :rotfl:). Don't worry about it just yet, lovely.

Any toys that requires head support says 3 or 4 months plus as a rough guide. It totally varies tho as Sugar said. T did it early but his friend who is 5 months still needs a pillow for successful tummy time.

Book club? Do they still do they sort of thing?

I remember my mom belonging to some sort of murder mystery book club where they got a free paperback 1x/month plus discounts if they wanted to order more...but this was 10 years ago, mind. :p

  • Gill - I'm the same with my mum's b'day and christmas, and I always get her smellies for one or the other too! The "other" this year is going to be a reading hamper, though she has a Kindle now so actual books are out. Was planning on putting together a box with some Amazon vouchers, box of chocolates, some coffee and another couple of bits if I can think of any. Not sure if that would be of any use for you?

oooh a reading hamper might be an idea. I'll have a think about that and see what I could come up with to put in it.

  • to add...

went hunting for some other ideas for a hamper and came across this thread (why I bother with Google when I could just use the forum search facility I'm not sure...)

Think I'll be adding a blanket and a mug to mine
