Buttons - work was a nightmare after my disciplinary, so we came to a mutual agreement a couple of weeks ago, where they pay me some money, I resign and I don't take my complaint any further.

Just waiting on the cheque now. Just confessed to my mum about the letter (she monitors our finances cos I'm rubbish) she's asked my dad to transfer some money over to get us through.

I've not done my JSA application I'm waiting to see what happens tomorrow, plus I'm not sure if they suspend my claim until I've used they money I've been given.

Been to the Remeberence Service at Church this morning, Katie made some Poppies, she left 2 at the Cenotaph, she also managed the 2 minute silence!

We're having Cottage Pie for tea. I've just made some Maple & Pecan Muffins, DH is currently using up the leftover biscuit dough.

I get my mum and dad the same every year and they love it.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

I've just been playing with my Christmas/birthdays spreadsheet. Total budget (as though I was ever going to spend it :rotfl:) for all gifts, birthday, anniversary, Valentines, Christmas was €1135. Total spent was €309.10. Total saved from RRP ......

    *drumroll*

    €1170.10 :j:j:j:j:j

With my creative accounting, since I have saved more than I actually budgeted, I think that means I made money on celebrations this year :rotfl:

Edit: booklights and such are from 49p at Books Direct Bargains, and don't forget Quidco.

Gill - we got mil a photo frame clock as they were half price on amazon so £13.49 instead of £26.99.

I love the reading hamper idea, wish I would get something like that instead of more toiletries I won't use!

OK another silly cooking question from me. I'm doing a roast chicken (my first ever from scratch lol) for tea and am going to puree the same as what we're having for T plus give him some breast meat to hold. In my Annabel Karmel book she talks about how the dark meat has more iron etc in for babies but all her puree recipes involve breast meat. I want to use the left overs to make some of her recipes and freeze - Is it ok/safe to do this with the meat from legs etc? Any reason why it wouldn't be ok? I think it will be but wanted to make sure :o

Kitkat they do their own stuff at different times. Miss M did it very early but my friend's baby was seven months and not lifting his head at tummy time or sitting unaided (at 7.5 months he raised his head, raised his butt and started rocking :rotfl:). Don't worry about it just yet, lovely.

Thanks SS :) I think he is getting there, he can support his head when I told him upright but wont bother otherwise, its like can but he is being lazy LOL.

Well done on your spending spreadsheet.. maybe I need to do something like that, I did with buying baby stuff but kinda forgot about it.

Any toys that requires head support says 3 or 4 months plus as a rough guide. It totally varies tho as Sugar said. T did it early but his friend who is 5 months still needs a pillow for successful tummy time.

Thanks Gill, tummy time make me laugh... he just moves his head so he is facing me, smiles and giggles, LOL. Doesn't even attempt to lift his head! :rotfl:

Wow @ Daisy! Maybe that explains why Mr here isn't so good with his, he was head down from about 20 weeks until I had him. Well done on DHs xmas present, I barely know where to begin with xmas presents!

Aimee held her head up from birth too, she's always been very forward... Took Caitlyn a good 4 months or so I think... A lot longer than I was expecting...

MDW, I think you're allowed £7k or something in savings for job seekers, but if you're classed as resigned then I think there's an exclusion time where you can't claim...

We went to the cinema this morning on a seefilmfirst freebie.. My Mum took the girls to her house and bought them a McLunch... Caitlyn fell asleep for 10mins in the car when she bought them back, and despite being put to bed at the usual time, she absolutely refused to nap anymore... And now she's being a very naughty little madam, messing with many things she knows she shouldn't be, and squealing an awful lot!

And I've made the most fantastic giant bread pudding... It's all crunchy sticky on the outside and gooey yummy in the middle... It's taken about a week of crusts and mis-slices from the home made bread, and I just started the next bags worth... I'm going to have to start passing it on to people or something... Or find something more healthy to do with stale bread...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Kitkat Molly can definitely walk unaided, I've seen her do it, but she gets everywhere faster by crawling and as soon as anyone lets go her hands she'll sit down and crawl off *rolleyes* Sometimes they're just lazy.

With Job seekers I think if you resigned you cant claim for 6 months but they pay your NI? Forgive me if I am wrong, I just am sure my old manager who resigned was moaning about it for this reason
