Afternoon all. Have had a very grumpy tired girl today at the in-laws - she slept in the car on the way home and has slept for 4 mins on my lap when we got in too, and is now FAR more cheerful. She hasn't eaten a great deal at mealtimes today - she has been picking at everyone elses food and has been fed sweets and chocies though, then they wonder why she isn't eating at mealtimes. Silly family.
Making her some pasta and sausages now anyway
I've put an e-mail on fb which I could do with some coments on if anyone has a mo.
How is everyone else?Isabella Molly born 14th January 2009

Mel, OH said their auctions are every two or three months. He'll have a look tomorrow for when the next one is. I was amazed at the huge collection of siezed bikes they had at the station when I visited.:beer:0 -
Som, thanks but i've got the poem for snowman soup all pirinted. Just forgot to bring them home from work.

Alex is tired and stroppey, but can't possbly put him to bed yet. Joe doing homework. I need to iron, but it's going to have to be school uniform and something for me and Alex tomorrow. CBA to do anymore.0 -
Daisy supported her head from birth:eek: I wonder if that's because she was breech for a very long time... sitting there in my tummy with her head up trying to escape via my boobs!!:rotfl:
DH's xmas pressie sorted:j Used £5 currys voucher towards it. If you haven't seen it in Grabbit - pick up gift guide and there's a code. You win at least a £5 voucher;)
Henry did this too. They think it might be because his head was engaged in an awkward position for so long (he was back to back and 15 days late).
Mad day at work today, and I have to pop back in now too. But then I have a week off and I so need it :j:j:j:j.
I love the idea of a reading hamper. I bought my Mum a load of the 99p books on bargain books direct when they had the great freebies, so I might do a hamper with them. We all love reading and pass the books between us.
Gentle hugs for tired littlies. Henry has a temperature, but seems okay in himself so may be teeth. I've given him some baby nurofen so hopefully that will kick in soon.:DYummy mummy, runner, baker and procrastinator0 -
I think we found an age/height bike chart a while back when Beenie was looking for one. In fact we did.
Thank you:AMel, OH said their auctions are every two or three months. He'll have a look tomorrow for when the next one is. I was amazed at the huge collection of siezed bikes they had at the station when I visited.
And thank you:A

Izzy held her head up really well too - I'd not thought about it being because she was late GISI, but that could well be it. I hardly had to support her head at all, even when she was titchy.

My VBF popped round earlier, she was just dropping a card in for DS1 and ended up staying for about 3hrs:D we had a lovely chinwag, and she brought me some of the birthday cake I had made for her DD2 , it was very tasty:)
We are definitely going with the magazine subscription for DS2, as it is sort of similar to DS1's xbox gifts... And 99% certain on bikes for them....that along with the few smaller gifts should be sufficient:) Oh and I am wanting to do some kind of sweets/chocs/ gift for themUnless someone like you cares a whole awful lot,

A woman I know has a daughter who is borderline special needs and frankly dangerous. She set something on fire in their kitchen and threw flour on it  (if you've never set fire to flour, it's explosive).
She's putting ads all over the local expat forum advertising her daughter as available for NYE babysitting. I am both  and  because she knows her daughter's irresponsible. Husband hired the daughter to catsit for ten days a few Christmases ago, drove home three days early (actually his ex drove, he was in the back with severe food poisoning hence coming home early) to discover the cat starving because nobody's been near him in a week.
I don't know how to point out that this is a Very Bad Idea.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76

I've just put Z on the case, he's emailed her to let her know that if she doesn't rethink her terrible idea he's going to go public with what she did to the cat and the kitchen.Organised Birthdays and Christmas: Spend So Far: £193.75; Saved from RRP £963.76
