  • As she's my Eldest I really don't know what I should expect of her. Any Ideas?
I think she sounds like she's doing fine. What is making you anxious about it?

    Hi
My twins could count to 10 at two years old. Thay are now 2 years and 4 months and they can pointout and tell you what the numbers are 1-6 but somtimes they seem to get a bit stuck on number 5. But still time to get this right.
I think that as there is two of them they have found it easy to pick up as thay copy each other a lot of the time and also compeat.
:jYou can have everything you wont in lfe, If you only help enough other people to get what they wont.:j

Busy day so not read everything. *hugs* to all xx

I let the boys walk to and from primary school from 7 years old. We live next to the school though, so it's only down our street and along the side of the school field and they're at the gate. I wouldn't have let them walk unattended that young if we lived further away, in a busy place or they had roads to cross though.
Here I go again on my own....

    Evening,

CAFC I really struggled to amuse Guy, he thought the Jumperoo was rubbish but it's worth a punt second hand as they sell on well. Have you tried any groups since the baby massage? I find they're great for keeping me sane and for Guy to interact with other babies, keeps him amused no end! Very sorry about Gordon, but at least he's going to a good home and you'll still get to see him :)

Right gotta go eat, good vibes for all in need, xx

Hmmm now im unsure of jumperoo.....
No groups since BM, i've entered into an unbelievable hatred of the surestart centre LOL so I need to find something happening somewhere else....

She's very easily amused. When I met up with someone else in Darlington we had a cup of tea in a cafe and I bought Alice a muffin. She ate a bit of it and then spent a very long time squashing the rest of it really flat over the whole plate so it was like a pancake. She still sometimes talks about when she "made a pancake". And on the hour and a half train journey back from London she occupied herself the whole time with a plastic duck and some picture cards she'd already coloured in without us having to give any input at all.

  • CAFC - I find groups good to keep both of us sane! Have you a Jo Jingles anywhere near you? They do classes for free (except a 2.50 insurance fee) for babies under 6 months so might be worth a try to see if LO likes it. I also use a bookstart group at the local library which D seems to love, that's free too so may be worth a try.
