GRRRR Church round the corner runs a toddler group..... not baby... rats....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
I have read a few times that a child who points to things (or walks down steps etc) saying 1, 2, 4, 3,5 etc etc (ie making the odd mistake) is nearer to 'really' counting than a child who just recites 1,2,3,4,5.... The little boy I look after can recite to at least 10, but I have only heard him actually count to 6, if that makes sense?
I know my mother thought my brother was exceptionally slow, until it was pointed out by my grandad that I had actually been exceptionally advanced - I could count, do basic maths, read fluently and write by the age of 3:eek: Sadly I didn't stay a genius:rotfl:0 -
You could enquire whether any babies go. There's bound to be some - think how many toddlers have a baby sibling.GRRRR Church round the corner runs a toddler group..... not baby... rats....Any question, comment or opinion is not intended to be criticism of anyone else.2 Samuel 12:23 Romans 8:28 Psalm 30:5

didn't think to mention earlier (was quickly approaching bath and bedtime for us) but you might want to try Netmums local listings for baby groups around you. Alternatively, if you're happy chatting to your Health Visitor, ours was great and gave us 2 A4 pages full of listings suitable for babies.0
