It was lovely to see everyone yesterday. Katie is very cute and was lovely to all of the little ones. Rhys is a gorgeous tiny boy who had lots of smiles (but mostly for his Mummy!)
Thomas was the happiest little man i've ever seen and im shocked at how grown up Lexi, Jack and Edgar have suddenly become. Lexi's shouting of Mommmmy was very amusing! :D
Christopher was also there but we hardly saw him! Soft play is much more fun than a bunch of yapping women (& Man).

Sami - you said the lo's were shooting balls at Rhys's daddy?, was it not you & Glam? :p He was a fun daddy anyway and didn't mind getting shot at! :rotfl:
I'm sure I don't know what you are talking about ;)

Also do you feed the dog after you have been fed? Mine never get titbits from the table, and they get fed after all the humans have eaten as in doggy language, the top dog eats first.
    ...
CAFC - the food issue is an interesting one, My sis is using the Me or the dog book to refer to for her puppy and it say to always pretend you are eating the dogs food then put it down so they think its scraps and to remove it after x time I think is 30mins but not sure.
I hope Hubby's work is sorted soon so you can tackle his behaviour and enjoy your lil family a bit more soon :)

That's what the freezer is for.

And now I feel slightly embarrassed because aside from milk and fresh fruit, we could probably eat normal food for at least couple of months.
Aw don't be embarrassed Susan! we all have different set ups, I bet you have more freezer space at your house than Sugar does in an apartment.

I have a dishwasher and I don't ever want to not have one :o I remember Keely saying she doesn't have one and doesn't see the need (I think in our house we must use an unnecessary huge amount of dishes that or we're greedy sods:p)

We are lacking in freezer space - it's already bulging. I wanted to freeze the pastry today but we have no room for it at all. And if a small package of pastry doesn't fit - you can imagine ;)

We are having a lot of freezer stuff tomorrow though. Dim sum lunch.

    Gooooorgeous pic CAFC!:D

Just been catching up... Sadly I can remember Daisy's birth to some extent () but can't remember little things like DH telling me she was a she, them showing me Daisy very very briefly before they had to put me to sleep:( I wish I could just forget it all:o I've been thinking about it more and more rather than putting it to back of mind like I should be *gives herself a slap* I won't start getting all depressed!!

Treated myself to some new make up this morning using several No7 vouchers I had. A few weeks until school reunion so I've got to start making myself look beautifoool;):rotfl:

Smartie, have you tried writing it all down? I sometimes find writing something down, even if I don't share it with anyone, is enough to "get it out of my head" and make it easier to move on a bit..

Our freezer is pretty abysmal at the minute... We could barely make 1 meal, let alone a couple of months worth lol...

I'm feeling a bit bad... A man from Scottish Power just rang me to try and get me to swap to them because they're cheaper... I told him I couldn't just take his word for it and I needed to research it first... Then I went on to moneysupermarket and did it for £30 cashback... Poor man is going to ring me back on Wednesday... Still... I swapped it into Hubby's name, so I can just blame him ;)
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

His eating however is something I'll need to look at I think. He doesnt really eat at a meal time isyswim, its there for him but he eats it when he can be bothered. We did try taking it away from him, but then he scratches up the walls when hungry, so we put it down for him (guess we're enforcing his behaviour)....

If you start a stricter meal routine, I think you'll have to put up with some days of scratching walls until he gets used to it.

I only feed mine once a day in the mornings. They're on dry food, but they manage to scoff the lot in about two minutes!

Suzy was the best. She ate so fast it's a wonder she didn't eat her bowl, then when she'd finished, she'd do the loudest and most disgusting burp that I've ever heard :rotfl:

I miss her at this time of year. She used to love fireworks and she's the only dog I've known that asks to be out in the garden on Nov 5th, so she could watch them!

That's a gorgeous picture you posted xx

Dishes done and on the rack (am I the only PT mummy with no dishwasher?),

I don't have an electrical dishwasher, but I do have a Josh :rotfl: One of his chores is to wash the tea things up, but I tend to do breakfast and lunchtime ones. I leave them until after lunch and do them all together.

Charlotte has been out with her Dad while I was at work and came back with these:

They're so cute! The white fur has silver sparkly bits in too.

Just heard that Darren Bent is injured so I'm not confident about the football this afternoon :(
Here I go again on my own....

When I cook I tend to cook rather large quantities so if I didn't freeze lots of them we'd get fed up of having the same thing every day. If I do soup in the big slow cooker it's enough for about ten days. Space (or rather lack thereof) in the freezer is the thing which stops me cooking more.

  • Afternoon all,

Been swimming with Katie this morning (Daddy took her in the water), she is really coming on, she is finally beginning to use her arms to swim under water rather than doing a Marina from Stingray impression.

Our church is having their Christmas Fair this afternoon so off there in a bit. I'm still trying to decide what to do tomorrow, Church then Chester for clothes for Katie or just mooch round our local ones then go next Sunday.

I think Katie enjoyed her hotdogs last night as she has requested them again tonight (good job there was left overs)

We have no room left in our freezer either as I don't adjust the quantities in a recipe so it all gets bunged in the freezer for eating another time.
Proud to be dealing with my debts

    Hello Alice!

Husband tends to make enough food for about eight people whenever he makes something, so we get a few lunches out of it as well. It clutters the fridge rather than the freezer though. He was all :j this week because he finally cleared out all the old chicken bones he'd been saving till he had enough to make stock and we had some space in the freezer. I don't think he's processed that we need room for the actual stock :rotfl:
