Bless my little American sounding baby girl! Haha she has everyone in fits of giggles with it :rotfl:

3, I do that with the lie in thing but most of our social events are on a Saturday night so I earmarked sunday lie-ins a long time ago! :D

Morning! Boiler men are here to replace the troublesome thing. They have confirmed that the washing machine not getting hot water is a separate issue - I could cry! I think the landlord must hate us, as through no fault of our own 3 different things have broken since we moved in 2 months ago. Anyway, with no water nor access to our kitchen for the whole day, Finn & I shall be heading out later to putter around town.

    Morning all

    Thanks, Sparkle -

my idiot, sickly, 35-weeks-pregnant OH... after I let her sleep 3 hours yesterday afternoon (making my work highly taxing! As E wouldn't nap), I crashed out soon after ten (when E finally went down after fireworks calmed down), her saying she'd read for a bit. I woke up at 2am to find her still up on the laptop  told her off that she was supposed to be getting extra rest to get well. Then this morning at 6.45 when E invaded, she tried to get up with him (she never, ever does this) ! She had set her alarm and everything... I told her it was very lovely but clearly idiotic, as if she got up after 4 hours sleep she'd be a zombie for the rest of the day and definitely not help her getting well.

So I've been up with the boy as usual... I am knackered frankly, if she weren't pregnant and on anti-b's I'd have taken OH up on the offer! Maybe farmer's market in a bit.

Aless, what a nightmare! In about 3.5 years of renting we've only had one oven and one curtain rail replaced, feel relatively good about that. Although getting gradually more anxious about the condition of LL's lovely leather sofas and the extent to which it's wear and tear vs furniture abuse!

I am very jealous of all your meet fun :) and of that soft play! It looks really great, not found anywhere that good in London yet.

E has a cold, he keeps picking his nose then coming to me with a scrunched up face of disgust, hand outstretched, saying "It's a BOOGer :(" :undecided

ETA but also, any time anyone in the room sighs, or has a moan, or tells him not do something etc etc, he rushes over to them ans pats their hand gently saying "Ohhh I'm sorrrrry pat pat" with a look of grave concern :p

Aww Bruno, I feel for you :( I can completely see where your coming from but I guess your OH was just trying to help. Once your that far on into the pregnancy its hard on both of you, especially second time round when you already have one little one to consider.

Hopefully you can get to the market for a bit of fresh air, will you be taking E? Might help tire him out a little.

ETA Your eta just made me smile, hes such a cutie, kids can be tiring sometimes though eh? Take care hun

Thanks Sparkle :) yeah, E and I off now to market. When we get back will wake OH and we'll go to Mothercare World for pre-newborn shoppings

Hoping E's new sleep pattern of 10pm-6.45am, and then a 45 minute nap at 5pm, does not last!

What would the end result be if you just Lexi do your nails? :p

Hope you don't mind me saying this :o
I know you've been having problems with Gordon lately, have you read the it's me or the dog book?
It just struck me as to me him trying to sit up high can be him showing dominance over you which is not desirable at all, you need to be the boss  i personally wouldn't let a dog on the furniture, they need to know you are the alpha dog and only you get to sit there.

Feel free to ignore and mumble to yourself about me ;)

I agree with that too. My dogs are not allowed on the sofas or beds. Bob has the run of the house when I'm out and even though sofas and beds are accessible, he never goes on them. Jack stays in the crate and he's still chewing and I don't trust him :o

Also do you feed the dog after you have been fed? Mine never get titbits from the table, and they get fed after all the humans have eaten as in doggy language, the top dog eats first.

Other things are when you get to a doorway or the stairs, who goes first? The top dog (you!) should go first and Gordon should hang back and wait. If he pushes past you, he could be trying to be top dog.

Hope you get the boiler fixed Aless. It's no fun having no heating and hot water.

Sorry to hear you've had a bad night Bruno. Hope E naps today and OH and yourself get some rest.

Slept in this morning which isn't like me at all. I don't have an alarm as I always wake between 6.30-7am, but I slept till nearly 8am this morning. I've missed boot camp :o

Off out shortly to do an audit for work, and I need to get some groceries while I'm out.

Have a good day all xx
Here I go again on my own....
