gosh - I seem to be up late this week! It's not a school night after all so I should be allowed
Busy day tomorrow though so I really should think about bed soon. Perhaps just a quick check of my emails.....r.mac, you are so wise and wonderful, that post was lovely and so insightful!0 -
why lost s-m?
I feel like everyone is off being a normal human being for the evening with fireworks and im sat on my backside trying to keep the dog from sticking his backside in my face so he can watch the tele from my lap....heaven forbid he should sit on the other two sofa seats available to him.....
Hope you don't mind me saying this
I know you've been having problems with Gordon lately, have you read the it's me or the dog book?
It just struck me as to me him trying to sit up high can be him showing dominance over you which is not desirable at all, you need to be the boss  i personally wouldn't let a dog on the furniture, they need to know you are the alpha dog and only you get to sit there.
Feel free to ignore and mumble to yourself about me
Yes the shame I ended up being late to the meetit all went wrong and I was even late picking Chris up from nursery!
It was fabulous to see everyone today,ESOP the babies have grown up so much! I had a blast, Rhys's daddy is fab, he had all the LOs shooting him with the ball gun - which they loved. Chris has decided he is the best thing since sliced bread so I expect to be hearing lots of remanicing and asking to go visit for months to come
Gill I'll put a link to the cake recipe here when I'm on the comp in a mo
Sooooo glad Amber is doing even better! I agree with most others to tell Oh when she's home. I would be funny if I found out OH kept anything like that from me long term xx0 -
Thanks for the tips everyone.
I have calmed myself about it all now. Just get het up after she goes to bed and no idea what to do about it. I might see the GP or just continue with what I am doing and work myself to an early grave
.
Anyway, I might pop in here from time to time if thats okay although not sure I will be able to keep up with the gossip as you do all chunter on (no offence) - but you all seem a nice friendly bunch. :j (kick me out if you want though, I wont take offence!!)

The ball game looked like such fun, but it was too noisy for Katie, she discovered the helter skelter instead.
I'm also looking forward to the cake recipe, Katie loved it.
New - please bob in don't worry about catching up, I give up trying to read back as I can never remember anything anyway.Proud to be dealing with my debts

I used this recipe:
2 crushed Weetabix
1 cup of raisins/dried fruit
2 cups of Self raising flour
1 cup of sugar
teaspoon of mixed spice
Mix these dry ingredients together, then add 1 cup of milk
Stir again and pour the mix into a lined loaf tin, bake at 170 for 45 mins - 1hr
Its wonderful slightly warm and always with butter/spread.
I soak my raisins in hot water for as long as it takes to weigh out the ingredients and crush the w'bix, I think it helps.
I also usually make mine with goats milk (used cows for todays), I can't taste it and its better for the boys
I can't take credit though because it was redstar that posted a link to it after Buttons asked about it a few weeks back, original thread is here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/215590

CAFC I only remember snippets of Molly's birth and needed to be told exactly what happened when because my bits of memory weren't a proper narrative IYSWIM. I think it's natural for the brain to put away unpleasant experiences either until we want to process them or forever so we're not upset by them xxx
Newid, please do pop in and don't worry about not catching up (SM too). We do talk a lot and if there seems to be something going on that you want to know more about just ask.
3, you were looking for OHy/Dad type Christmas gifts? If either one's into golf today's Groupon is a £12 pro golf lesson including all equipment hire. It's in Liverpool if anyone else is interested, and if you need to be referred just ask me on FB cos it's not allowed here
Lovely Molly slept from 8:30 to 8 this morning :j Husband however kept me awake coughing from 4-5 and only then retreated to the sofa. I have vague memories of passive aggressively humphing into my pillowAnd he is now peacefully snoozing while Molly and I eat eggy bread I made from home made bread. Domestic goddess, me, except that there's no milk for tea.

Good Morning Everybody
Had a lovely time at the meet yesterday, was lovely to meet MDW, Gill81 and Elle and OH plus all the new children. Cannot get over how big all the 'babies' have got since I seen them last!
Decided to have a few beers and a curry with OH last night and little miss Lexi thought it would be fun to get me up at 5.30am then didnt want to go back to sleep
Have a busy day/night ahead too as we are going to a birthday party this evening in Chester and staying at a hotel so I think Im going to be very tired tomorrow. Which is another busy day as its my cousins babies christening
Hopefully I can squeeze a nap in this afternoon when we check in!
What does everybody else have planned for the weekend?

It was lovely to see everyone yesterday. Katie is very cute and was lovely to all of the little ones. Rhys is a gorgeous tiny boy who had lots of smiles (but mostly for his Mummy!)
Thomas was the happiest little man i've ever seen and im shocked at how grown up Lexi, Jack and Edgar have suddenly become. Lexi's shouting of Mommmmy was very amusing!
Christopher was also there but we hardly saw him! Soft play is much more fun than a bunch of yapping women (& Man).
Sami - you said the lo's were shooting balls at Rhys's daddy?, was it not you & Glam?He was a fun daddy anyway and didn't mind getting shot at! :rotfl:

My dad and OH aren't into Golf - but FIL is, and is 50 next week! I'll show it to OH when he gets up.
I did some forward thinking this morning. It's OHs weekend off, so I got up as soon as V woke this morning. We're at a wedding tonight, so id prefer the lie in tomorrow!:beer:0
