Buttons, it might be yours... But I wouldn't hold your breath that there'd be anything of value left in it... You never know though, sure you bought it home and didn't leave it in the shop by accident? ;)

    Happy birthday btw :)
No deffo didn't leave it in the shop as it was left in the car, and we went to Asda, and I remember handing Idris it out of the lift. So perhaps it was left in the communal landing but Im SURE I took it in the flat.

Yeah I'm not expecting the netbook to be in it, but I'm running down to her flat at half 3 as Im sure that is when she is home from work.

You'll hear me screaming if it's all there, I have a vibrator in my make up bag :rotfl: I want that back!

    Thank you :D

Glad, we're just feeling a little picked on recently. Others can say whatever they want about the PT and get away with it and we're expected to just keep quiet? So it does come over as both, MSE in general is anti-parents (you just have to look at some of the things people can write on other areas) and that certain people can get away with much more than others.

    Hi
don't feel picked on as parents in general that's certainly not the case :)

all members on MSE are treated the same, if some seem to get away with more it's because their posts haven't been reported to the team or spotted by a BG

but it is MSE policy not to allow a thread to go off topic by members commenting on other (controversial) threads, the PT is on one of the main moneysaving boards so the core of it should be helping parents to save money, that way it can stay up here, please carry on posting as normal and ignore/report any upsetting posts :)

I just had my :money: Approved Foods bread mix bread. It's a bit denser than I was expecting considering how much it rose but quite good. Nomnomnom. I wonder if they still have it? ;)

Edit: I am profoundly depressed that they have Rice Krispies in the baking section, but SJ if you're about they have packs of cake jelly toppers 2 for 99p. I don't know if that's a bargain?

Oops, quoed is earlier and forgo. Hmmm my T is no working :( Had o opy and pase. Damn. C is no working eier.

Can I have some finger food/BLW advice please? Can I give T mature chedder or will that be too strong? He's already had swedish cheese and edam but I don't buy ordinary chedder. Any other cheeses that your little ones have tried and liked? If I steam up some carrot battons how long can I keep them in the fridge for? Also can I freeze them and what's the best way to defrost them? Also any shared experiences with first finger foods (for a paranoid mummy!) would be welcome :)

In a year we had a car book and a disinfectant spray cleaner totalling about £14. I guess they mustn't have much for Alice's age so I'm not rejoining until I'm far enough pregnant to be sure of it.

Right so I just went to the shop to get my mum some crisps.

There is a sign downstairs saying "Bag found contact number 2" Number 2 is where the caretaker lives.

I buzzed but she must be out.

Do you think it could be mine? What are the chances of it being someone elses lost bag? Im getting my hopes up.

Hope it is yours BM and Happy Birthday BTW.xx

Haha Bexta I felt like that too and lurked then posted occasionally while still hanging about on the pregnancy thread hoping that no one would notice I wasn't pregnant any more.

Ah poor wee beastie, Kitkat, I hope you and he are past the worst of it.

Did anyone get the Approved Food garlic doughball mix? Are they nice?

We bought some, but bought so much other stuff we've not tried them yet. I will let you know!

:rotfl:It must be a good one if I will hear you from here :rotfl:

I just wanted to "me to" this bit. I tried yesterday evening to calmly explain a few things yesterday in a calm way so that people would understand a few coments that had been made previously, and to have that all deleted was frustrating. Particularly as I had been very careful not to name any names or implicate anyone in particular, just explain why we became particularly paranoid recently ;) Particularly as a number of abuse reports were made about that particular situtation, and I've not received a response to mine (I don't know if anyone else had one?)

As SS said yesterday, this thread is a really important support to us all and we get very defensive of it because it makes such a difference to us.

This is my plan, I'm thinking of waiting until this baby is born and then signing up again... We didn't do too badly last time, got about £65 worth of stuff, but I think only because I commented that I would like to try the cheeky wipes, I doubt I would have been offered them otherwise...
For those with older toddlers..... any advice on LO hitting! I know its just a phase but its been going on for sooooo long now have tried taking her away from the situation, holding her hands saying no hitting it hurts, naughty step and time out which all havnt worked and I'm getting really bothered by it! I have now been taking her upstairs and shutting her in her bedroom for 2 minutes while she kicks and screams but nothing else seems to bother her?? Any tips would be gratfully received:o
There's an article in this months Prima Baby about a 3yo hitting... The basic recommendations were to stay consistent and use time out for every hitting incident, explain after time out why you are cross, make the child apologise and then go back to normal... Positive praise when they're behaving themselves... I know my friend went through it with her DD and she thought it would never end, but it did eventually...

Thankfully Aimee was never one to hit (although her friend was a real bully and always pushing / slapping her so she did start to get some defensive ones in eventually, but who could blame her lol) But Caitlyn has a real temper on her so it might be something we encounter with her...

Rather typically Caitlyn reduced her 2hr nap into 1hr today... Right as I was dosing off on the sofa...She's a real whinge bag as a consequence too... I tried putting her back in bed but it didn't work so now we're sitting comatose in front of cbeebies... And my friend is fetching Aimee from school... I have also asked her if there's any chance she's thinking of getting her children's tea from the golden arches so I can be the epitomy of slack mother... But no reply yet...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.
