Right going shop, found out today that the kids are going to the cinema with the school in the morning and need a drink and small pack of sweets, plus £2.50 each for the coach/ticket cost..........Grrrrrrr short notice eh!
 I would imagine loads of children wouldn't bring the money/consent form back at such short notice so I wonder what they'll do with them? Between those who aren't at school, those who lose the form on the way home and those who forget to give it to their parents it seems crazy to give such short notice.

Mel, I hope it's one thing and not the other! :rotfl: but hey if that's what you want then I bow down to you, brave woman! :p:p

Tara, I don't think anyone's moving anywhere...if they wanted to move us, Preg Thread or TTC thread (after all, we're all related), they would've done it already. I think it was more that people were "rule breaking" and we got a little telling off :p. *shrug* There's chat threads all over MSE, not just on Arms, so we're just another one of those! You lot are all worrying for nuffink. ;)

In other news, Finn has decided making monkey noises while eating is the new thing.

Jillie, your comments about that takeaway cookbook are having me drooling. Our library doesn't carry it, so I am very tempted to actually buy the darned thing! Do they have desserts as well?

All cinemas are providing free films to schools this week so there is no ticket cost, must be just bus money. How did they manage that so last minute.
Too many children, too little time!!!

It's very :money: to be getting Primarni fleece sleepsuits instead of Next ones, so :p.

    Yes, well sort of:o

In other news.....Asda have Thomas the tank engine fleecy sleepsuits for £9 (well my Asda did anyway)

I may also have some other news.....It might just be bizarre happenings though, should find out Thursday:p

    Mel x

Primark also had Thomas fleece sleepsuits.
And Mel Did you know Chester now has a Primark? I didn't until I walked past it last Saturday night.

Oooooh, i'm desperate to hear your news.

    Kids schools and money:
Last week L cost me £10 in dinner money, £2.50 for a theatre group coming into school, £2.10 for a Pop Project coming into school and then Friday she came home with a letter about a residential for next September, two nights for £150.00.
And here's me moaning that J's school holiday is expensive at £150 for 4 nights.

Ladybird Apparently the backlog is because of how they're changing JSA/ESA or whatever it is they're doing. Those people appealing ESA decision as being given priority for tribunals, meaning the DLA people are at the back of the queue.
There was a box to tick saying you'd take a short notice tribunal, so if anyone cancels, we could get in earlier. Fingers crossed.

Krystal I only half read your after-scan post earlier while I was in the car waiting for sister. Did you stick to finding out you're having a yellow one?

  • Oh BM - I hope that IS your bag. Fingers crossed.

Have you seen BM's FB? Her bag was handed in with all the stuff intact!!

Does that mean her insurance company won't pay up? *nefarious*
