    Yes, a great phone.

Saving an internet picture is as simple as pressing on it then selecting 'save image.'

Yes, that shouldn't be a problem.

When you connect the SF to your PC, the microSD shows up as USB mass storage - I've transferred music and photos to it this way, and copying files from it to a PC would just be the same, or enable bluetooth and do it that way.

If you want pics with a high resolution you probably won't find them on Opera Mini as it's optimised for speed; if you use the native browser, though, and do an advanced google image search you will be able to specify the size of the images you want and can get pics that look fine on a laptop.

That takes a bit of time, though, and is generally slower. Edit: this does work on Opera if you select google classic view.

  • My Nokia e72 is really messing up and I'm only 10 months into a 24month contract. I'm looking a replacement android phone and will sell on my E72. I have looked at a HTC Wildfire from Amazon, sim free for £193.26
Can I get a better smartphone for less than £100? I want to stay on Orange as I get good reception and all my family are on orange as well.
    Advice appreciated :) ta

Yes, Orange San Francisco would be perfect, as we've already said.

Orange San francisco if you read this thread - the screen is so much better than the Wildfire for one..

  • OK, I'm off to look at the Sf on the orange website. Next question, what's the best place to buy so far? Do I need a micro sim or can I still use my normal sim card in this if I buy one?

Thank you. I'll likely get the San Francisco phone tomorrow from the local Orange store. Then, will need to have it unlocked.
please may I know what is Opera? is it the browser used in the phone? if so, how do i install the native browser and not the Opera? i'm clueless with mobile phones and have never had a smartphone.
