No new viewings yet i'm afraid wondering at what point we're going to have to look at lowering the price.0

oh dear i've really been neglecting this diary- my defence is that i have no money to add to the isa but i'm still doing money saving stuff.
-went to the library yesterday for free storytime with bubs
-had egg, chips and beans for tea yest (something OH affectionately calls a council house dinner) and will attempt to make a thai red noodle soup with leftovers tonight, and a friend gave us some cherries he didn't like as they were quite bland, ive cooked them added sugar & almond essence so they're tastier so will have cherry crumble after the soup so OH wont complain about just getting soup for tea!!
-am going to the art gallery with my mum to hear a lecture on a giant hockney painting and then we'll use the picture and piano voucher to get a free pint.
Perhaps all small things but it means im not spending money so all good.
The mort is down to 63376.51 now after normal payments went out and there's been no new viewings but according to the news there's no first time buyers about so i think we may have to wait a while to move sob sob.0 -

Things will come together eventually. It is so hard with the economy at the moment but you have to keep faith that it will happen, and when it does you will be so much better off for all the small things that you have done that have made you save or earn the pennies.0

Hi Cocalls,
Have just subscribed to your diary, have really enjoyed what I have read so far, look forward to more! I live in a small house so know where you are coming from wanting something a bit bigger. I am also on the mortgage free quest but haven't put a diary up so far. If you don't mind me asking where did you get the picture and piano vouchers? was it on this site? Thanks. x0 -

Of course it wasif you on onto the bit where it says restaurant vouchers then scroll down to the bit on pitcher and piano. i registered a while ago and i tend to get a free voucher/month. My mum has joined too and greene king pubs tend to do freebies too so we have plenty.
Also if anyone needs to increase their boots points-they're doing free hearing tests and you get 150 points for the privilege.0 -

I'm desperate for a fish finger sandwich on cheap white bread with tomato sauce, goodness knows what he'd say about me :rotfl:
Someone was leaving today and instead of the usual cakes bought tons of chips, rolls & tomato sauce. Wow, never seen people move so fastA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0
