Had a lovely xmas-got some great pressies and babs has been absolutly spoiled not by us i hasten to add-we got her two books ha ha!
Anyway been chucking bits and bats at the isa and its now at £600, the mort is 63970 so the total is now 63370. Not bad. Still waiting for my sis to tell me how much she's spent on pressies for rellys we have to buy pressies for and never see apart from to actually give them their pressies so we all club together for that. I'm hoping its about £70. I got £50 from my gran but im using that to get some trainers and underwear in the sale.0 -
Actually went through our bills joint account, some bills are going down like sky as we've finally cancelled sky sports, so totted up how much we really need in there and have put the surplus in the isa so it now stands at 827.17 so the mort is now 63142.83 mmmmmm i'm going to see if i can chuck more at it today as i don't like those odd nos.0

Hey good luck with your quest! We have more space than you and I am also starting to feel that we have run out of room (we have lots of pets) I feel like I really need a play room or something downstairs where I can dump our daughters toys and she can play-I'm fed up of toys everywhere, incase the get lost/damaged or dirty. We are trying to build an extension but I still don't think we'l have enough room as the extension will be tiny. Sounds like you are determined in your goal and wish you luck for the new year!Mortgage November 2003 was £135k, but thanks to this website on 28/08/12 we became MORTGAGE FREE!
Now just over 2 years we have taken on the challenge again! )(starting £237k Nov 2014) Current mortgage £232,399.82, current overpayment total £1550, years remaining= 170 -
Thanks gerbiljo-space it's so important and yet so expensive to acquire isn't it?
Anyway the pond scum from nxt door have spent most of the xmas period arguing and the police were called round yesterday-I HAVE TO MOVE!! The walls are so thin i can hear every blooming thing and it's doing my nut in.
Thus in my desperate means to just do something-I've added more to the isa, i get paid on the 14th and have about £100 to last me til then in my acc so thats fine. So the isa now stands at £840.00 so the mort is 63130, the normal replayments come out on weds so we'll see how it stands then.0 -
