Bronnie - Happy Birthday go on, have a slice of cake :bdaycake:and we'll all plonk ourselves down on the comfy chairs in here and have tea and cake with you. Cake has been proven in my scientific experiments to be extremely nutritious and extremely beneficial to anyone with hormones going hay-wire. Hope you enjoy your day and spend (at least some of) it doing what brings you joy.

Sunny here. have loads of dishes to wash from last night but am pacing self:).

Going through to Glasgow this afternoon to see DS. Food and alcohol will be involved but will have attempt at frugality. Back to being more frugal tomorrow.

    Aww! Thank you!

I've got a gently pleasant day planned and am off work.

Going to pop up to the gym soon for a little bit of exercise, first time I've been since the car bump, but feel like I'd like to get started again. Going to visit a friend this afternoon, then DD and I are going out for supper. We have a new local restaurant opened here and the food is lovely, fresh and creative and very reasonably priced, at the moment. They have a "book through Facebook and get free wine" offer, so that's what we've done....and dd will be driving so.....!!

After that willl be lounging in dressing gown time. DD has bought me a lovely Sanctuary candle and also 100% essential oils, lavender for winding down evenings and lemon oil to get me going in the morning!!

Hope you all have a lovely day and joyfull this was lovely!

    Hello Warm Ones,

Hope all is well in Meno Land and if it's not, you're not alone. Woke just about every hour last night and eventually got up at 4am, put a wash on & generally started on morning chores. Blooming flushes have started in the night a bit after a few week's break.

Nice day here in Kent. Found a few more MS :money:windfall apples in nearby orchard. Washing on the line actually got damper I think even though the sun appeared.

Hope you're all looking forward to your weekend and you find time to kick back, relax, and feel good.

Well, Bronnie, hope you are rested after your big day yesterday!! Hope also you are enjyong smellies. It's such a great idea to have the relaxing oil and also the pick me up oil. Good thinking!
Not masses doing here but wanted to report in and give you all a wave:wave:.
I can never remember who said what but whoever suggested cleansing with oil - thank you!! I've started doing it every 2nd day and my skin feels great afterwards. Might progress on to every day :D. It's a great MSE tip - thanks!
Anyone drinking lots of tea in this damp and dreich weather - I can recommend the Sains Basics 28p teabags. I think it's for 80. I'm sure all you tea jennies know about it but it's so good and also v frugal
Another thanks goes to the kind soul who suggested the Sains Basics smoked salmon. I have had a whole pack for my lunch today yum yum. Couldn't stop eating it as it was delicious. About 80p a pack too.
Had a fab meaty beefy proper burger last night when I was out with DS. It was great. We shared a bottle of red and a cheeseboard after and it was just great.
Rightie-o am off out with the dogs. DH is working and it's mighty dark out there in the park so I will not go all the way round. Loads of dog walkers though and it is mostly well lit.
Hope you are all well this evening and planning to stay warm but not too hot
