has anyone tried dealtastic?

Guess what turned up in the post about 20 minutes ago? Yup, you guessed right!
Most annoying part is I just reordered it last night and it's already shipped out so I can't cancel it! So I've paid twice for the same thing. Flamin' typical.0 -
Oh no!! Typical! Will you send it back or keep them as friends for each other?
Hilariously, my friend has just informed me that her dealtastic monkey also arrived today, after I ordered her another one from Amazon. Looks like she will now have two monkeys.
I won't be sending it back (or rather she won't be - why should she?! It was her Xmas pressie!) and I won't be paying for it again. Hopefully they've refunded me by now, heh.
Two monkeys for the price of one

No, my Mum saw my one and thought it was the bees-knees so she's had the one from Base (that arrived today! Now that's what I call quick service, take note Dealtastic!). As Dealtastic said I should keep the one from them I shall do! Just means my Mum's got an extra pressie.
Like you, two Wii Sonic's for the price of one!
I checked my account today and Dealtastic have refunded the money, so I guess all's well that ends well. I won't shop with them again though, no matter how tempted I might be by their offer prices. Base worked out more or less the same price for the Wii Sonic even without coupon codes and I got that in, what, two days? Not counting the weekend.
Anyho, hope everyone else gets their orders sorted and I wish everyone a Merry Whomas! And for those who aren't Doctor Who fans and who're not looking forward to 6pm on Saturday, have a happy Christmas!

so do you all feel guilty now? slated the company everywhere because your orders were delayed (like the whole of the UK) and then the orders arrived before Christmas as they should- i cant understand people complaining about these type of things? DO YOU PEOPLE NOT SEE THE WEATHER? Ah well, at all's well that ends well
would have been better off ordering on iwoot anyway with their curent glitch.. 0 -

No, not feeling in the least big guilty, why should I? The only reason these orders turned up is because we !!!!!ed and whined in public. These orders weren't "delayed" they hadn't been sent in the first place.
As for the weather delaying things, pull the other one sunshine, it's got (festive) bells on! I've done all my Christmas shopping online (as I have been doing for the last seven or eight years) and, bar two last minute purchases on Friday, everything has arrived. And some of those things came from Play.com and Amazon which, surprise, surprise, are both based where? In Jersey! Where Dealtastic is supposedly based. And it's been clear in East Anglia for the best part of three weeks now so there's no excuse for non-delivery.
Dealtastic got slated because of their poor customer service and the reviews we left were not the only ones saying that items hadn't been delivered and I dare say ours won't be the last.0 -
I ordered from them twice before Christmas without any problems, sounds like I have been lucky.0

I bought Monopoly Here and Now world Edition from Dealtastic at the end of November, it was a very good price, was delivered quickly and they even put a packet of batteries for it into my parcel at no extra cost. I have no complaints. Living in the North of Scotland I have had some long waits for items ordered in December, quite a few items were stuck in transit for over two weeks.

Wish I'd seen this thread earlier! I'm coming at this from a different angle. I bought my son a pressie from them on ebay. It was marked as dispatched a couple of days later. Then I got an email from ebay telling me not to pay them if I hadn't already. So I contacted ebay and they set it up as a INR case, and I got a full refund within a few days.
Lo and behold, on Christmas eve the item I ordered, and now had the refund for, arrived! Meanwhile I'd been out an bought on on the high street.
I've now got something I haven't paid for. Really must contact them and send it back (at their expense of course!) as I have no need for 2 of the same thing.0
