Has anyone ever actually recieved their order from Dealtastic? I ordered the Wii Sonic Screwdriver Remote from them on the 5th December and I'm still waiting. They debited my card on the 6th! Just sent them them an e-mail but, judging by comments here and on t'internet, I doubt I'll get a response. :(

Haven't used them but their paypal was suspended Their response on facebook on the 9th Dec 2010, to a question regarding PayPal was "we no longer accept Paypal transactions-we are lowering our prices further and due to the Paypal Transaction charges we felt that this was the best move for our customers"
Personally I don't care about the suspension etc., however any reputable company would simply explain thier situation, rather than lie. This however appears to be the modus operandi of this company.

Dear customers may I refer you to my response below -

Firstly, we need to be careful as these posts are getting borderline libellous, I refer to the comment "so it would appear" regarding us and ebay, and forgive me for defending the integrity of the company I work for as you have put it.

In actual fact the position with paypal and ebay is the complete opposite to this personal assumption.

Because of our site being so new offering a range of in demand products at such amazing cheap prices and having a huge amount of growth and sales in such a short space of time, both companies are following their normal practise of confirming and securing our sites with them and looking at new advance payments systems between them and us.

If you where to look at our customer feedback on ebay it is 100% confident. We have fulfilled all customer orders, and after the problems caused by the recent snow and ice weather conditions we are now back on track and working around the clock to get customers their orders in time for Christmas.

Again we have had some slight hic-ups, but as you have seen with the success of dealing with a couple of customers directly on this forum, we are very open and will go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty. The feedback to own our website, all our sales channels and our social networking sites have been very overwhelming and positive, and are very grateful for anyone giving us extra publicity, and the platform to show how serious we are as a company.

Our ebay and paypal accounts are in the final stages of checking with our new measures in place and will back online 100% secure after 1pm today. We have a strong and great working relationship with these both companies, who you are more than welcome to contact to confirm this for our UK, French and German Sites.

Regards

Kevin

Hi Fenris,

Sorry to hear that your order has not made it to you. I can enusre you that we are a fully legit webiste, we have had a couple of teething problems (we only launched in September with our updated site), also we have had the same problem other companies have experianced caused by the recent snow and ice weather conditions, but have been working around the clock to get all customers their orders.

So in the meantime send me a pm with you order, and as you will see with other customers I have been talking to on here, I will confirm your order with a update, and get one of our customer service girls to contact you as well.

Thank you for your custom,

Warm Regards

Dealtastic you need permission to post as a rep

Please dont post until you get permission

MSE TEAM PERMISSION: CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENTS

Company representatives are actively encouraged to post on the forum to provide good customer service to MoneySavers. They should not be using the opportunity to tout for business. We need to know in order to legitimise it. Where permission has been given for a company/person to specifically post there will be a note from the MSE Team. If someone has posted claiming to have been given permission but this has not been followed by a MSE team note please report it to !!!!!!.

You shouldn't share info until this so called rep gets checked out for all we know he could be a fake. Thats why reps need verifying who they say they are

I'm not a total idiot, he's not got my name, address and National Insurance number. What's he going to do with my order number if he's not a rep?

I agree. But the Internet is also a place for the exchange of knowledge, ideas and a great place to gain/give advice and assistance. Not everyone on the Internet is out to scam everyone else and not everyone who uses the Internet believes that some bloke in Nigeria is going to send them $10,000 for replying to an unsolicited e-mail. If people want to give their names, addresses and vital statistics to a total stranger on a forum, surely that's up to them?

Too many people telling other people how to behave these days, little wonder few people have any common sense.
