Dealtastic you need permission to post as a rep
Please dont post until you get permission
MSE TEAM PERMISSION: CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENTS
Company representatives are actively encouraged to post on the forum to provide good customer service to MoneySavers. They should not be using the opportunity to tout for business. We need to know in order to legitimise it. Where permission has been given for a company/person to specifically post there will be a note from the MSE Team. If someone has posted claiming to have been given permission but this has not been followed by a MSE team note please report it to abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
Hi there, I have emailed trying to get this done, (I am one of the affiliate managers and we can be found on affiliate window) and to confirm I am not here to tout for business, but to direct customers to our customer complaints dept or help in any way with the comments about us being some sort of fake site.

This is hillarious! Bear in mind I ordered one Wii remote, this is the reply I got to my e-mail:
So, what, you took it out of its box, disassembled it and then shipped it out in three parts?Dear customer,
Thank you very much for contacting Dealtastic. We are sorry to hear you may have not received your order.
We have looked into it and can confirm that the order was dispatched on 05/12 and split into 3 parcels. All orders are shipped within 24hrs and in most cases orders are received within 2-5 working days but please note that due to the adverse weather conditions currently affecting the UK
We will need to allow 10 working days from the day it was dispatched to claim it as lost in transit.Unfortunately before this period of time we are unable to intervene in your order
If you need further assistance, please email our customer service team for further information
Clearly they have no idea where my order is or even what I've ordered! I'm less than impressed.
@Kevin: I've replied to that e-mail directly requesting a refund. I appreciate your help, but it's not filling me with hope when they seem to think they've shipped one item in three parcels!0 -
Ok now I am worried. I too placed an order on 5th December and on the tracking it says passed to Ayden. Who on earth are Ayden? I would like to know if I am getting my son's Christmas parcel or not. I find it suspicious that you cannot contact Dealtastic by phone and had I checked that out before I purchased, I probably would not have done so. Now I am desperately hoping their quick email service does just that as the funky monkey I have ordered is the main thing on my son's list and I need to know if I need to reorder it somewhere else. Perhaps the Dealtastic poster on here could help me out too!Smile though your bank is breaking:)0

I have to say I have just had Kevin on the phone and I only pm'd him a couple of mins ago so that is good customer service. I did cancel my order as was scared with more snow coming that it may not arrive and didn't want to take the chance. However given his swift response I think perhaps you should give them a chance. He is going to get customer service to call me regarding a refund as he is in the marketing dept so I will let you know how that works out and if it all goes well then it will prove that they are trying their best.Smile though your bank is breaking:)0

.....and customer service has just emailed me - however that was in response to an email I sent them. Kevin had told me that the item hadn't been dispatched yet and that is why I cancelled it but according to customer services it had been dispatched on 6th December and should take 2-5 days delivery! So someone ain't telling the truth. I will keep you posted about the refund.Smile though your bank is breaking:)0

I've had another e-mail today telling me I've got to wait 10 working days before I can request a refund. I bet then it'll be, "You'll have to wait until Royal Fail have conducted their investigations and when they've refunded us we'll refund you". I'm not having that, have they not heard of DSR?!
Anyway, tried to PM Kevin but got an error message, so if you're reading this Kevin, here's what I wrote:Originally posted by Fenris via PM:
Hi Kevin,
Well, you know I'm giving you the benefit of the doubt here, right? Because I got another e-mail from customer services today saying it was sent on the 5th (which is odd as the 5th was a Sunday! But again, benefit of the doubt) but there's been no delivery today, again. If there's been a delay with the supplier then why was I told it had been sent?
I'm sorry, but I'm not at all happy about what's happening here and I'm not impressed that the two e-mails I've had from customer service have insisted I have to wait 10 working days before I can request a refund. Have Dealtastic's employee's never heard of the Distance Selling Regulations? I'm a small business owner and I have to adhere to them, so Dealtastic has to also.
I don't think I'm ever going to recieve this item so I'm off to Play.com to order it from them. I'd appreciate it if you could sort a refund out for me please. It's too close to Xmas to be waiting on something that'll never arrive.
Cheers,
@54druids: Looks like you and I are in the same boat; contradictory information from Dealtastic's CS team and Kevin. CS assure me it was posted on the 5th and Kevin tells me (via PM) that it might be a problem with the supplier. Come on, what the hell?! I've tried being patient, now I'm downright furious!0 -
I am rather concerned now.
I placed an order on the 2nd December for Dave the Funky Monkey to go to a friend. She has not received it.
I emailed them and have just got a reply which is suspiciously similar to a reply they said to someone else:
Dear customer,
Thank you very much for contacting Dealtastic.
We are sorry to hear you may have not received your order.
We have looked into it and can confirm that the order was dispatched
on 03.12
In most cases orders are received within 2-5 working days but please
note that unfortunately there can sometimes be unforeseen delays.
We will need to allow 10 working days from the day it was dispatched
to claim it as lost in transit.
If you need further assistance, please email our customer service
team for further information

Is the package even going to turn up or have they just taken my money?
I am so angry. I was trying to be organised and get presents arranged early this year.
What are my rights - have I lost my money?0 -
So despite Kevin's assurance that if we PM him he can personally look into it for us, I am now told that Kevin is no longer accepting PMs. Ha.
So....looks like we've wasted our money and won't be getting any refund at all.
Idiots. I am NOT happy. :mad:0
