Ive also ordered one but im unsure about one thing, the internet fair usage. I was told its 3gb and it says this on there site too but only for android phones.

It says other phones is only 1gb. Is this correct? And also how do t-mobile know if you have a android phone or not?

When I called yesterday the lady didn't ask me what type of phone I or my husband has and she confirmed several times that the deal definately gave us 3GB of internet per month, each.
I asked if there was a fair use policy and she said that in the unlikely event that I went over the 3GB they would give me a call and ask me to lower my usage for the following month.
My sims should arrive this morning. Once I have read the paperwork I'll post back if the deal isn't as it was told to me but to be honest I don't expect it to be.

i ordered this T-Mob sim yesterday morning. Got it today without any confirmation of contract details. Called customer services and got told its:

    £15pm for 12 mths
    600 min
    500 txt
    unlimited internet (capped at 3g)
    unlimited landline
    £7.50 loyalty discount (?)

I was also told they don't confirm inclusive allowance details with SIM and that should appear on the first bill... I don't subsribe to that as I want to know within my 7 days cooling off period if I received what I ordered... hope it makes sense!

I ordered one of the £7.50 sim on Sunday (I received it today), I told the guy on the phone I want to put it in my iPhone he ask which one (I guess to see if I needed a micro sim) and I also asked him several times if it was 3GB of data and each time he confirmed yes, never once was 1GB mentioned.

I was hoping that I'd get confirmation of the deal I signed upto with the sim but it didn't come with that, I'll check online later to see if it's confirmed on there, but I also expect something in writing to confirm the deal before the 7 day cooling off period, I don't expect anything to be wrong but it's best for both parties if they do.

What's with the free video calling - surely you're charged?

No - it won't. I have an Android phone and it doesn't mention it on My Account online anywhere other than on the bill (which you'll have to wait for!) mine says
    web'n'walk Plus (18) Free
Try doing a speed test, I believe the non 3GB package is limited to non-HSDPA, i.e. you will get a maximum of 384Kbps. The 3GB package seems to allow upto 2Mbps.

Think it just means it's enabled on the account. The capped data rate also only applies if you don't have a bundle, meaning you can't spend more than £1 a day on data.

Leave it on the account - it does no harm.

Text 'AL' to 150, that will tell you what you have.

Yep the same appeared on my account.

I have to say I'm very impressed. They said it would arrive Tuesday by special delivery and it did. They were so inundated that I wasn't expecting it, but there it was! :T
