This is such good value. The amount of SIM only deals that have come up recently makes me wonder why anyone would take out a phone on contract unless literally the cost of the contract over the minimum term was the same as the cost of the phone on its own (in the case of the deal I took out in April) - I guess some people see e.g. "£35" rather than £840 as the total cost over two years.
On another note I went into an area of National Forest today where there is normally no signal on T-Mobile and sure enough my phone was still working on Orange roaming, so that's another bonus that's recently been added.
Don't get slowing my 3G down though0 -
I just phoned and got this - the guy said it had been extended to this morning.0

Waiting for a call back - silly postcode at my old address, grrrr!! Applied for Tesco's offer yesterday with the same result.Tough times never last longer than tough people.0

I have just got off the phone to a lovely lady at t-mobile and both my sims are on their way.
The deal is on until the sales staff are told otherwise but they fully expect to be told at sometime this morning to stop.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
I really fancy this deal but I'm currently on a 30 day rolling contract with t-mobile and understand the only way i can get the £7.50 pm offer is to port my existing number out to another network ( payg sim ) then port it back to t-mobile ( on to the £7.50 pm sim )
Anyone else doing this ?0 -

Reading other threads people have managed to move, ask to be transferred to the retentions dept explain that you want to stay but doing the above just means more work for everyone and can you just switch Please Please nice person on the phone.
If not just ask for the PAC and do it, it's work but worth it0 -
Thanks Chorlie for your reply
I've just ordered one of the £7.50 pm sim deals and it should arrive tomorrow, t-mobile sales lady told me that I will have 7 days cooling off if I decide not to port out and then back again. She also 'said' the deal would be available for about 2 more hours only so at least this way I've secured it either way.0 -
I just signed up. They would only provide the 3GB data if I signed up for two (which I wanted anyway, my brother had better be grateful!) and after consulting a manager.0

Just a thought, if you ask for you PAC for your current number could you phone back and tell them that you want to port you number onto your new sim and give them that PAC, see if they will take it or the hint anyway.
If not get a free PAYG sim port the number with the given PAC and port it back to T-Mobile a couple of days later, it's a pain but think of the £££ and the deal your getting0
