Sounds a very good deal especially as T-mobile will be sharing Orange coverage on 2g just now but soon 3g too...Neil

    What's T-Mobile's 3G data coverage like, compared to O2.

I've an iPhone which is now out of contract and this sound to good to be true.

I was just about to go to Tesco and sign up for their 10 a month deal which finishes today. Is this one a better deal. for me it wouled be easier beacuse my daughter has a TMobile phone and PAYG sim and we've been waiting for one of these online unlocking codes 9which we've paid for~) for well over a week now but we wouldn't have to bother unlocking if it's a TMobile sim. presumably we'd be considered as"new customers" as we've only been PAYG up til now.

Just phoned up to order one, they are very busy took 20mins to get through but its an 0800 number. It sound like the offer started yesterday and is on for a short period of time, I've got:

    12 month Sim Only £7.50

    600mins
    500 text
    3GB Data
    Free Landline Calls

after the 12month it increases to £15, but phone in the last month to ask about a new deal

Well £15 is no worse than my current tariff with vodafone.

Do I need my pac when I call or can I give it later?

I was told I'd get the sim in the post on Tuesday and to call back once I have the sim with the PAC if I wanted to port my number

    Thanks.

Interrupted my call to tmobile to ask vodafone for my pac and see if they could match this to save me the hassle of changing. They can't so have started the 'on hold' queue again - at least its a free phone number! :)

This is better than my giffgaff tariff - I'm calling them now
  • Woohoo - all sorted. I went for the unlimited landline as my booster! Sim should arrive on Tuesday and i can call with my PAC then.

The only extra charge will be voicemail at 12p/minute, but I don't get many voicemails and it would be about 12p per voicemail to collect one if i take a minute.

Not bad 1/2 the price of my current tariff with way more included. i will now just get a 2nd hand smart phone on ebay.

    Thanks MSE!
