pricefighter there was a long thread discussing this at some length since that article appeared in February, so the affected people are probably more informed, as implied above0

i emailed them a few weeks ago and they said:
"At present we have estimated a dividend to creditors at around 30p in the £.
You may recall that when we wrote in March, creditors were given until 5
April 2005 to prove their debt. We have a statutory time limit to pay a
dividend to creditors within 4 months from that date.
You can therefore expect to receive a dividend before 5 August 2005.
Hope this answers your queries."0 -
I spoke to them today - there should be a payout of around 30p/£ by 5th August.0

One of my friends was stuck in this with T-Mob. She stopped using the SIM card right on the day she knew the company went bust. She cancelled the direct debit with T-Mob and sent a cancellation letter to T-Mob. Few weeks ago, she got a letter from Debt Collector saying that she had to pay the penalty or they would take her to court. She replied that letter to the Debt Collector with all evidence that she hasn't got her cashback with the FwdCellular etc. She got a letter from the Debt Collector again saying that she doesn't have to pay anything (the penalty was cleared for her).
Hope this helps someone who is still stuck in this contract !!!0 -
