Suggestions for good reasonably priced restaurants in your area please.

Hello everybody,
I was surprised not to find an "Eating out" thread on this site so I thought I would start my own!!
Could I ask you all to give us the name and 'phone number of your favourite restaurants in your area of England please.
It would be helpful if you could list children friendly and adult only restaurants separately.
I'm taking the family to London this weekend to see Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, which I hear is fantastic, so I would appreciate some suggestions for children friendly restaurants near the London Palladium.
Anybody else wanting suggestions for a certain area, please feel free to ask here
Many thanks

Great idea Victor!!
I've got two all you can eat Chinese restaurants in Folkestone:
Oriental Buffet, 18-20 Rendezvous Street, Folkestone - 01303 227356
Owned by the Ghurkas and all you can eat for £5 lunchtime and £7.50 evening (at least it was last time I went!!!)
Kalala, 2 Castle Hill Avenue, Folkestone - 01303 211128
Bit more up market but similar thing, I think this one is about £9.50 for evening.
Enjoy!0 -

We love the Primo Piano italian restuarant in Leek, Staffordshire 01538 398289. (Near the marketplace).
Its an upstairs room, very intimate - more for adults really.
Excellent food, English choices too. Great service. Never been disappointed.0 -
most pubs are now offering decent homemade food and cater for kids with a non-smoking area and one of the best is yates - they do a special kids menu and a buy 1 get one free for adults menu.....0

I like Ed's Easy Diner in Piccadilly Circus and Soho. Good value for money and child friendly.
They have great burgers and Onion rings and their shakes are yummy.

Singbury Thai Cafe in Leytonstone High St. is great value for money at around £12 per adult with two dishes. It is not licensed but you can take your own drinks and they are also very child-friendly! There is a big Turkish supermarket nearby where you can get your drinks. Open evenings only. Enjoy!0

North East Kent - vicinity of Leeds Castle.
The Harrow, at Ulcombe - small pub with sit-down restaurant
Run by a Frenchman, never had a bad meal there, generally pay £8-13 for main course but he always has a 'menu of the day' 3 courses £12 (if i remember correctly) and about £8 for a bottle of basic wine. His cooking is great, but sometimes they don't remember to light the fire, and if chef has a bad day then they close early - but i can forgive him all that for the flavour of his food!0
