Most people posted originally with the intention of trying to help, or offer an honest opinion. If they have become cross with you over time then at least some of the responsibility lies with you for the way you have responded to them, and the misleading nature of your posts.

I try not to judge people too much (although we are all guilty of it here to some degree or another). My OH spent over 5 years delaying moving in wiht me in order to save money. I persuaded him in the end and to be fair we have a healthy deposit now.
